Seventeen — Japan Special Single "Power of Love" Review [ESP|ENG]

Debido a que estamos en época de fiestas, muchos artistas comienzan a sacar canciones navideñas o con ese estilo cálido para disfrutar durante el frío de diciembre. La mayoría siendo baladas que todos amamos y nos encanta escuchar, por eso hoy he venido a hablar y dar mi opinión de este reciente lanzamiento de Seventeen, un grupo surcoreano que hizo un sencillo japonés especial para nosotros y ambientarnos en el sentimentalismo que las fiestas de fin de año nos puede dar.

Because it is the holiday season, many artists start putting out Christmas songs or with that warm style to enjoy during the cold of December. Most of them being ballads that we all love and love to listen to, that's why today I have come to speak and give my opinion of this recent release of Seventeen, a South Korean group that made a special Japanese single for us and set us in the sentimentality that the parties of end of the year can give us.

Seventeen es un grupo surcoreano que ya ha sacado varias canciones en japonés, sin embargo esta es muy diferente a las otras y no en el mal sentido, pues se puede disfrutar como cualquier otra. "Power of Love" (o Ainochikara) es su primera canción de invierno, lanzandola apenas a poco tiempo de sacar "Rock With You", la cual puedo decir que es mi canción favorita últimamente, así que esperaba con ansias esta canción especial.

Seventeen is a South Korean group that has already released several songs in Japanese, however this one is very different from the others and not in a bad way, as it can be enjoyed like any other. "Power of Love" (or Ainochikara) is their first winter song, releasing it just shortly after releasing "Rock With You", which I can say is my favorite song lately, so I was looking forward to this special song.

Primero hablemos de la letra. Esta canción habla sobre cómo se puede atravesar los malos momentos, el frío y dificultades gracias al poder del amor, consuelo y palabras que ayudan avanzar hasta la primavera dónde todo es cálido y mucho mejor. A lo lejos se puede ver que es una canción sentimental, su concepto puede animarte si se pasa por un momento difícil en esta temporada, así que puedo agradecer el regalo que nos han dado.

Let's talk about the lyrics first. This song talks about how you can go through the bad times, the cold and difficulties thanks to the power of love, comfort and words that help you advance until spring where everything is warm and much better. In the distance you can see that it is a sentimental song, its concept can cheer you up if you go through a difficult time this season, so I can thank you for the gift you have given us.

Se enfoca aún así en el ritmo invernal con las campanas que resuenan en el fondo, así que espero que a pesar de que hable de atravesar el frío de invierno, de alusión de que la primavera (calidez, paz) se puede encontrar aún estando en esta fría estación.

It still focuses on the winter rhythm with the bells ringing in the background, so I hope that despite the fact that it speaks of going through the cold of winter, an allusion that spring (warmth, peace) can be found even in This cold season.

Su vídeo cuenta con nada más y menos que ellos cantando en medio de la nieve. Aunque el efecto de toda la edición, se siente poco real, aprecio el amor con el que grabaron. Podemos ver cómo se vuelve todo más colorido al pasar los segundos, así recordándonos que la primavera llega con el poder del amor.

Their video features nothing more and less than them singing in the middle of the snow. Although the effect of the whole edit feels unreal, I appreciate the love they recorded with. We can see how everything becomes more colorful as the seconds pass, thus reminding us that spring comes with the power of love.

Cuando hay un cuadro de color y flores en medio de la nieve, me recuerda a lo que hablé anteriormente. La primavera, es decir, la calidez, paz, puede crearse para sí mismo en medio del invierno, así que creo que el concepto de primavera es algo relativo.
"Incluso dentro del frío, nos volvemos más fuertes" nos dice en la canción. Ese hecho fué lo que más me gustó.

When there is a square of color and flowers in the middle of the snow, it reminds me of what I talked about earlier. Spring, that is, warmth, peace, can create itself in the middle of winter, so I think the concept of spring is something relative.
"Even in the cold, we get stronger" she tells us in the song. That fact was what I liked the most.

No hay mucho que decir sobre el ritmo y la melodía, es tranquilo, sentimental y aprecio demasiado que todos y cada uno de sus integrantes hayan dado vida a la canción, incluso los que son parte del rap, cantaron y dejaron sus corazones aquí. A pesar de eso, a veces se puede volver repetitiva a diferencia otras de sus canciones baladas más fuertes. Pero eso no me detendrá a disfrutarla en navidad.

There is not much to say about the rhythm and melody, it is calm, sentimental and I appreciate too much that each and every one of its members has given life to the song, even those who are part of rap, sang and left their hearts here. Despite that, it can sometimes get repetitive unlike other of his louder ballad songs. But that won't stop me from enjoying it at Christmas.
