I almost drew for Yae because her ult animation is just soooooo good, but because Kokomi came in the same patch so I had to choose one... maybe next rerun, xd.
The Yae/Raiden/Venti/Bennett team does look super neat. You get the buff from Bennett, Yae can comfortably do her job as sub-DPS while letting Raiden be the main DPS, and Venti gathering everything in one spot swirling pyro giving you bonus overload damage while still keeping everything in range. Electro resonance too, although I forgot if it procs on overload... if it does then it's super amazing. Venti and Raiden can pretty much make sure that everyone will have their Q up all the time, wew. Only downside seems that you will need three 5* characters, that's expensive. Premium team I guess lol.
Not sure how Ayato can help with Yae, because I think Ayato is a main DPS that shines exceptionally well with Bennett/Jean combo for extremely consistent vape damage and it doesn't really seem to do well here, unless you want him as an on field DPS in place of Raiden... which idk will it work? But you do what you want :D Ayato banner ends in like 2 days, good luck! Let me know if you figure out something hehe.
Kokomi is a great option too and her design is very nice. I sadly don't have her though. People are also starting to use her in abyss more which is good, she had a lot of controversy when she came out, glad she's starting to shine.
Once I get Ayato I will have to play around with my own characters and test out which fits best, I was originally planning him to be in an electro charged team (which I would use Yae) Or I'd do a freeze team with the sibling combo. I have no idea, there's so much options since he's hydro. Anyways, Thanks for viewing! (:
I actually don't quite get the Kokomi controversy, during her release she's the only character that has ranged, AOE, consistent hydro application at almost no investment and that itself is already amazing... Guess not having lots of damage numbers just makes people not that interested in her.
Hydro is just a too powerful element, maybe that explains why we only have that limited number of hydro characters in the game. I think Ayato will work better with the sibling combo (as off-field damage dealer and support), but do try both!
Yeah, nowadays people only care about damage per screenshot and think that if there's no big numbers then the character is automatically "bad" 😬 Genshin did do her a bit dirty with the negative crit rate, but it can also be seen as a good thing cause then people can focus on other stats instead of building crit on every single character.
I agree! Hydro and Cyro would probably be my favourite elements in genshin. Freeze comps are just too fun to do. I can't wait to test team comps out once I get ayato.
Have you pulled for him or are you saving for a specific character?
Negative crit rate is not that bad, although yeah, I would prefer if she has something to convert crit rate and crit damage stats to something else that she can use. Might make her too powerful (and makes her less interesting because at least for now we are sure that someone out there is running full crit Kokomi for whatever reason) though, lol. But on the other hand there are also players that managed to build teams revolving on-field Kokomi that deals a serious lot of damage with very clever elemental reactions, so maybe when there's a will, there has to be a way... Even if there's no known way, they will find a new way.
My favourite element is probably anemo, but hydro and cryo also played an extremely important role in almost all of my teams. My entire early game is also almost carried by a (pretty wack) team involving anemo, hydro and cryo, nice memories!
I'm saving for Ayaka... She's coming right up. Hopefully I win the 50:50 😬 otherwise it's going to be challenging pushing for the hard pity.
Yeah, that's the great thing about genshin, you can make any character strong and play however you want with them. I've even seen crazy dps Barbaras haha. The possibilities are endless.
Sucrose was one of my first characters in genshin. Playing anemo was fun. I was quite a noob at that time and used her basic attacks as well LOL. I also got Fischl on my first 10 pull, I created a very interesting team indeed. 😆
