My Actifit Report Card: January 14 2022
I drove out to the disc golf course to find my lost Wave disc. I was going to ride the e-bike but I was feeling a bit lazy and besides people have been yelling at me so I figured it was best to give it a break for awhile longer.
I marched down to hole seven carrying my recovery tool.
What's that little tiny speck of blue I see?
It's my lost Wave disc that I went into the river for yesterday:
It was right where I left it. Thankfully the river went down a few feet since the day before.
I was really happy to get it back and started to play a practice round. I got my disc golf shoes really wet when I went into the river yesterday and they had not fully dried, so I was wearing my cloth running shoes. They were soaked from the wet grass after four holes.
I saw my friend coming to great me on hole four and I was really happy to see him. It had been awhile since we last got to play together. I started over and we played a scored round and he almost beat me with a +4 score. I scored a +3 and he remarked that I wasn't playing as well as usual.
My son and I had changed a lot of discs in my bag the night before after I lost the Wave disc. I think too many disc changes too fast is kind of hard. Plus my shoes were really not as good as what I usually wear and my feet were very uncomfortable.
It was great playing today though and I'm sure glad to see my friend and get my disc back.

It's a real pleasure to find a lost disc. When we used to play cricket, when the ball was lost, it would be a great pleasure to find that ball later.
