Testing the latest Photoshop feature "Sky Replacement"

Greetings, photo lovers!

After I updated my Adobe Photoshop to the latest version, I read the news about this promising new feature, called "Sky Replacement" and I decided to give it a test drive.

It is indeed an interesting and quick feature, that saves time - it automatically creates all the necessary layers and masks and gives you the ability to fine tune the new sky/background to the way you like, a really handy one :)

So here is the composite image I made from a photo of the See-Through Church in Belgium where I replaced the background with the sky with a bird from nearby our house.

Here is my original long exposure photo from our Belgian trip:

The trained eye will also notice I removed the concrete base of this art installation, the bike and the two boys enjoying the scene, also with a few clicks.

I encourage you to test this lovely feature it can be found under the "Edit" --> "Sky Replacement..." By the way, there is a library with several impressive skies, coming along with it. ;)

Personally I prefer the original picture.
I made a trip to this location a couple of times and I really liked this artwork, and the other ones in this small town.

Indeed an amazing place :) To walk in those pears and apples fields and suddenly see it is priceless :) Plus the stunning views at sunset.

Yes, you are right I suppose, as replacing a long exposure, a bit blurred sky might not be the brightest idea, however I liked how that clouded sun stands just behind the cross of the church. ;)
