That's a lovely collection. I have to say, I respect every camera and lens I've ever used and owned, even the "crappy" ones are able to produce a masterpiece, right? No wonder there are so many "filters" and LR presets that mimic the "defects" of the old cameras! :)

It's amazing how many cameras there are in the world just roaming wild and I've managed to catch these although I've never bought anything that expensive. I think 35€ or 30€ is the largest amount I've spent on one piece. First there was just one and suddenly the cameras just multiplied I guess. On their own. :D

Film photography makes me really humble as I see how a crappy photographer I seem to be. But then the occasional exceptional photos with an old cheap camera just save the day. Or perhaps the whole year.

True that with the filters. I was checking what hashtag to put to my sprocket shots that I've photographed with a 127 size camera but a 35 mm film in it and found out that it's apparently a thing to add sprockets to a digital photo as a filter. Weird.

Yeah, that's what happens to cameras when you leave them unattended :D :P
Once I bought an old camera for EUR 2.50. I think that's my best purchase :) It was fully functional to my surprise!
I wouldn't even think of you as a crappy photographer. Crappy photographers are those who call themselves "photographer" and then publish quickly blurred low quality mobile-taken photos of the sea with tilted horizon, for instance, at that's only one example. Kinda expected, though, as many are here only for the crypto token drips ;)

I generally use Lightroom Classic 99% of the time I spent editing photos and I think there are presents matching the "defects" of all the vintage cameras. IMHO, the "Holga" presents are the most entertaining ones.

Thanks!

Filters are fun to play with but boring to use all the time. Especially excessive use. Old cameras on the other hand... :D
