My big day teaching AUTOCAD course - ENG/ESP

Hello to all Hive readers! I am happy for this post that I will do today. And it's about something that I am passionate about which is teaching, imparting my knowledge to others trying and doing it in the easiest way I can get!

Hola a todos los lectores de Hive! Estoy contenta por este post que haré el día de hoy. Y es que se trata de algo que me apasiona que es el dar clases, impartir mi conocimiento a otros tratando y hacerlo de la manera más fácil que pueda conseguir!

I have been trying to give the course for a while, since for various reasons I had not been able to. The course is basic AutoCad, and for those who do not know what this program is, it is basically an interface for drawing plans.
My goal was to give all the necessary tools so that at the end of the course, the student would be able to build a drawing from scratch to its printing through the most used tools to draw in AutoCad. Simplifying in the most optimal way, the great universe of options offered by the program.

Llevo un tiempo tratando de dar el curso, ya que por diversas razones no había podido. El curso es de AutoCad básico, y para aquellos que no saben lo que es este programa, se trata de una interfaz para dibujar planos básicamente.
Mi objetivo era dar todas las herramientas necesarias para que al finalizar el curso, el estudiante fuera capaz de construir un plano desde cero hasta su impresión a través de las herramientas más utilizadas para dibujar en AutoCad. Simplificando de la manera más óptima, el gran universo de opciones que ofrece el programa.

A few years ago I was able to become a teacher in a very prestigious institute in the city of Caracas. The truth is that at that time, I did it more for the love of art than for the money, because the pay was minimal and I also had a company where I was doing very well. But since I liked it so much, I did it happily.

Hace unos años atrás pude ser profesora en un instituto bastante prestigioso en la ciudad de Caracas. Le verdad es que en ese momento, lo hacía más por amor al arte que por el dinero, porque el pago era mínimo y yo además tenía una empresa en la que me iba muy bien. Pero como me gustaba tanto, yo lo hacía feliz.

The day arrived and on Friday I gave my first course here on the island, not many people attended, 5 people, but it was actually better because I could attend them all in a more personalized way.

El día llegó y justamente el viernes di mi primera vez el curso aquí en la Isla, no fueron muchas personas, fueron 5 personas las que asistieron, pero en realidad fue mejor porque así podía atenderlos a todos de forma más personalizada.

The place was at the College of Engineers and Architects here on the island, and it is a very good place for this type of activity because it has everything necessary, such as air conditioning, chairs and video beam. Besides that, the person in charge of the school is an extremely attentive and diligent person. He was always there for everything I needed.

El lugar fue en el Colegio de Ingenieros y arquitectos de aquí de la isla, y es muy buen sitio para este tipo de actividades porque cuenta con todo lo necesario, como aire acondicionado, sillas y video beam. Además de eso, quien es el encargado del colegio es una persona sumamente atenta y diligente. Siempre estuvo ahí para todo lo que necesité.

Regarding the course, I feel that the kids who participated, learned because even though it was Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, in those few hours, they were able to receive all that amount of information and apply it on Saturday morning to draw a house that I took them for homework. I loved it and felt happy and satisfied to know that they learned a lot, and that they certainly liked the experience with me, because several of them asked me when I would do the advanced one.

Con respecto al curso, siento que los muchachos que participaron, aprendieron ya que a pesar que fue la tarde del viernes y la mañana del sábado, en esas pocas horas, fueron capaces de recibir toda esa cantidad información y aplicarla la mañana del sábado para dibujar una casa que les llevé de tarea. Me encantó y me sentí feliz y satisfecha de saber que aprendieron mucho, y que sin duda les gustó la experiencia conmigo, porque varios me preguntaron que cuándo haría el avanzado.

The truth is that I still don't have a date for the advanced course, but I am looking forward to it so I can continue imparting as much knowledge as I can to those who are willing to receive it.
