Hola! Como sabrán la mayor parte de mi tiempo libre lo invierto en ver series de todo tipo y quiero aprovechar todo ese conocimiento y proporcionarles a ustedes reseñas desde mi punto de vista. Los shows de televisión más vistos y aceptados por el público son los de comedia puesto que a todos nos gusta reírnos. ¿No les ha pasado que terminan una serie y se sienten vacíos y con ganas de ver más pero no conocen nada igual o parecido a lo que vieron? Pues por este motivo hoy les traigo mi top 5 mejores comedias estadounidenses, en el orden según mi gusto particular; todas buenas, todas graciosas y si no te gustó una tienes otras 4 opciones que probar, así que sin más dilación, vamos allá.

As you may know, I spend most of my free time watching series of all kinds and I want to take advantage of all that knowledge and provide you with reviews from my point of view. The most watched and accepted TV shows by the public are the comedy shows because we all like to laugh, haven't you ever finished a series and feel empty and wanting to see more but you don't know anything like what you saw? Well for this reason today I bring you my top 5 best American sitcoms, in the order according to my particular taste; all good, all funny and if you didn't like one you have 4 other options to try, so without further ado, here we go.

Puesto #5: The Big Bang Theory

La Teoría del Big Bang es una serie que sigue la vida de un grupo de amigos que son científicos superdotados aunque bastante torpes socialmente. Muchas personas sienten que son raros desde la escuela por tener gustos diferentes al resto y se apartan de las personas, esto no es diferente para nuestros protagonistas, pues sienten que solo encajan en su mundo de ciencia y fantasía, pues también son fanáticos a los cómics de superhéroes y las películas de ciencia ficción. La vida de estos personajes cambia cuando al apartamento del frente se muda una chica que sigue los estereotipos de "rubia tonta y superficial" y se convierte en el desemboque de toda la trama. Veremos un desarrollo de personajes, una amistad de 2 tipos de personas completamente opuestas en todos los aspectos, esforzandose para relacionarse y entenderse entre si, creando así situaciones que lograrán sacarnos unas risas.

The Big Bang Theory is a series that follows the lives of a group of friends who are gifted yet rather socially awkward scientists. Many people feel that they are weird since school for having different tastes than the rest and are set apart from people, this is no different for our main characters, as they feel that they only fit in their world of science and fantasy, as they are also fans of superhero comics and science fiction movies. The lives of these characters change when a girl who follows the stereotypical "dumb, shallow blonde" moves into the apartment across the street and becomes the trigger for the entire plot. We will see a character development, a friendship of 2 types of people completely opposite in all aspects, striving to relate and understand each other, creating situations that will get a few laughs out of us.

Esta serie diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados cuenta la historia de lo que pasa en una oficina, que a primera instancia parece algo aburrido pero a medida que avanza se va poniendo mejor. La serie empieza algo lenta, con un humor distinto centrado mucho en el sarcasmo y un poco en lo absurdo de los escenarios, llevando el término comedia de situación a otros sitios sin un tono establecido. Toma formato de falso documental, lo que conlleva que los personajes le hablen a la cámara, comentando sus experiencias, lo que piensan o simplemente la miran en ocaciones. Me encanta la forma en la que nos obliga a encariñarnos y empatizar con los personajes, incluso con los menos agradables. Llega un punto en el que te acostumbras a su humor característico haciendo que verlo sea una experiencia placentera.

This series, different from what we are used to, tells the story of what happens in an office, which at first seems a little boring but as it progresses it gets better and better. The series starts off a bit slow, with a different humor focused a lot on sarcasm and a bit on the absurdity of the scenarios, taking the term situation comedy to other places without an established tone. It takes on a mockumentary format, which involves the characters talking to the camera, commenting on their experiences, what they think or just watching it at times. I love the way it forces us to get attached and empathize with the characters, even the less likable ones. There comes a point where you get used to their characteristic humor making watching it a pleasurable experience.

Malcom en el Medio a diferencia de la anterior se enfoca más en el ámbito familiar, pues trata sobre una familia no muy funcional y todos los problemas que esta atraviesa. La serie cuenta la historia del hijo intermedio de cinco hermanos y a pesar de no ser los protagonistas los padres toman un papel bastante importante ¿Te imaginas ser padre o madre de 5 varones muy traviesos y rebeldes? Entre los muchos temas que se tocan está la guerra constante entre padres e hijos, que pasa con una pareja después de entrar en la paternidad, que significa tener hermanos y como cambian las cosas a medida que creces. Una cosa curiosa que tiene la serie es que Malcolm de vez en cuando rompe la cuarta pared y nos habla a nosotros, los espectadores. Las actuaciones son magníficas, las situaciones muy graciosas y lo que me gusta es que a diferencia de muchas comedias de esa época no usa risas enlatafas sino que deja que el público decida cuando reír, toda una obra de arte, muy recomendable.

Malcolm in the Middle, unlike the previous one, focuses more on the family environment, as it deals with a not very functional family and all the problems it goes through. The series tells the story of the middle child of five brothers and despite not being the main characters, the parents play a very important role. Can you imagine being the father or mother of 5 very naughty and rebellious boys? Among the many topics that are touched upon is the constant war between parents and children, what happens to a couple after entering parenthood, what it means to have siblings and how things change as you grow up. A curious thing about the series is that Malcolm occasionally breaks the fourth wall and talks to us, the viewers. The performances are superb, the situations are very funny and what I like is that unlike many comedies of that era it doesn't use canned laughter but lets the audience decide when to laugh, a work of art, highly recommended.

Creo que no hay mucho que decir de esta serie pues muchos la conocen ya, ha maracado a más de una generación, creando un antes y un después en el mundo de las comedias. Trata sobre seis amigos y es hermoso ver como se relacionan entre sí, se ayudan, se apoyan y van evolucionando. El elenco es maravilloso y es que te enamoras de todos y cada uno de los personajes protagónicos con sus características y personalidades diferentes. Si tienes un grupo de amigos cercanos probablemente te sientas muy identificado en muchos momentos. A mí en lo personal me sirvió para saber cómo actúan los amigos reales en situaciones difíciles y es que la amistad verdadera no se rompe ni se deteriora aunque las cosas cambien y la edad a veces no te permita pasar el mismo tiempo o hacer las cosas de siempre. Para muchos la mejor serie de la historia pero no creo que pueda superar el número uno.

I don't think there is much to say about this series since many already know it, it has marked more than one generation, creating a before and after in the world of comedies. It is about six friends and it is beautiful to see how they relate to each other, help each other, support each other and evolve. The cast is wonderful and you fall in love with each and every one of the main characters with their different characteristics and personalities. If you have a group of close friends, you probably feel very identified in many moments. For me personally it helped me to know how real friends act in difficult situations and that true friendship does not break or deteriorate even if things change and age sometimes does not allow you to spend the same time or do the same things as always. For many the best series ever but I don't think it can beat the number one spot.

Puesto #1: How I Met Your Mother

Como su nombre indica, trata sobre un padre contándole a sus hijos la historia de como conoció a su madre. Nuestro protagonista cuenta sobre su búsqueda incesante por la mujer indicada, la perfecta, la destinada a ser la madre de sus hijos y en el camino se da cuenta que es mucho más difícil de lo que cree. Aunque es categorizada como comedia, yo le veo un alto nivel educativo, ya que vemos que cada historia siempre tiene una enseñanza sobre la amistad, el amor, las decisiones y la vida en general. Otra cosa que tiene y hace que se destaque entre todas las series antes mencionadas es la capacidad de crear escenas conmovedoras, llenas de emociones, separando las situaciones graciosas de las serias, pues a veces nos saca una sonrisa y otras veces nos toca el corazón y nos saca par de lágrimas. Esta serie ha marcado mi vida en muchos aspectos y en mi opinión es la mejor comedia de la historia y les aliento a que la vean.

As the name implies, it's about a father telling his children the story of how he met their mother. Our protagonist tells about his relentless search for the right woman, the perfect one, the one destined to be the mother of his children and along the way he realizes that it's much harder than he thinks. Although it is categorized as a comedy, I see a high educational level, as we see that each story always has a teaching about friendship, love, decisions and life in general. Another thing that it has and makes it stand out among all the series mentioned above is the ability to create touching scenes, full of emotions, separating the funny situations from the serious ones, because sometimes it makes us smile and other times it touches our hearts and brings a couple of tears to our eyes. This series has marked my life in many aspects and in my opinion it is the best comedy in history and I encourage you to watch it.
