Wednesday Walk- Short break at work and find some time alone.

Hello, Hivers! Happy Wednesday! It's been a while since I last posted here, as I wasn't able to go out and take some photos. Aside from going to work daily, which I am always in a rush! The usual dilemma of a typical Filipino commuter.
Thus today, I decided to take a short break from work and visit the nearest mall. Eh, the usual SM Megamall.
Our group head didn't work on site today, so what perfect timing 😁. Not that I had something to buy; it was just I felt too demotivated. It was only last week when my usual buddy at work rendered her last day. This was the first week working without her. No, I am not being dramatic.
Until now, the company I am working for hasn't recovered yet. Several of our workmates decided to leave and look for greener pastures. Now only a few of us are left with tons of papers. Yes, I am supposed to be grateful as I didn't lose my job, but maybe I am only human. I had emotions and couldn't help sometimes, but I felt slightly sad since yesterday in my TTT post. Ahhm; maybe I was only aging,🤣.

Enough with the drama; let me give you a little bit of a tour of what I documented a while ago.

I might be living in the Philippines, but there were many Chinese people here to the point that the government allowed them to celebrate the Chines New year. It was even declared as a special non-working holiday so I wasn't surprised to see several Chinese lanterns on the road.

The Christmas lights and tree from last month's celebration weren't removed yet, so lanterns were just displayed together with it.

Walking going to the mall, I can now visualize what will be the decoration at the ground area. No need to guess.

This year was the year of Rabbit so an image of could be seen at the center of decorations and even around the area.

See these cute bunnies? It was just a decoration, but I could not help but appreciate it. Whoever did the job, I do commend them. It was not only me, but most were the kids. They love to take photos, roam around, and even refuse to leave. I saw a couple who seemed about to lose their patience as their child was already lying on the ground—having tantrums! Why? Maybe he is still enjoying it.

I also noticed that there would be a bunny run, but I didn't bother to ask for the details. I could be back here on the weekend and watch some programs.

Aside from lanterns and bunnies, of course, the Feng shui forecast couldn't be missed. Each zodiac year where given brief details of how life would be and some lucky charms. This year the Feng shui master was Marites Allen. Though I don't believe in such, I was still thrilled to look for mine and read it. Would I be lucky this year?

It took me a while before I saw the horoscope for this year, as it was located on the other side, almost at the end.

I immediately read and here what it says;

Heartaches and misunderstanding, friendship medallion? Ah, bestfriend, now I remember you again 😕.

I would not say that I like what I had read, lol. The last time I asked google since the topic in blogging contest hosted by hiveph is somehow related with these. It says I will be lucky this year! Yet, why the Feng shui master says was kinda negative. Or could be be in some aspects only.

Well, as I said I don't believe in such but of course I do respect the opinion of those who does.

What about you? Have you check yours?

Hello everyone, this is my entry in Sir @tattoodjay Wednesday walk in collaboration with @elizacheng in make me smile. Hope I made you 😊.

If there's a celebration a couple of weeks after new year, it's smart not to remove the decorations. I've never been to a place where Chinese new year is celebrated, so it's nice to see it on photos, at least :)

You are from Western county right? Maybe that is why, while us were the same belonging in Asia.
There was even a Chinatown like a community of Chinese and you can find a lot of there products.

I love the way the lanterns look in the streets and they match the Christmas decorations, hehe. I have never been to a Chinese New Year celebration. The Chinese are the largest Asian community here, but there are not so many of them to have a street celebration of Chinese New Year.

And well concerning horoscopes, Feng Shui, I don't believe in that. And I hope and wish you a great year 😊.

I don't know actually why the government allowed them to celebrate new year here🤣. Maybe it was because they are scattered all throughout the Philippines.
Though somehow their celebration is also entertaining 😁. It's fun to watch the dragon dance.

Hehe glad we both don't believe, I am more on we created our destiny...
What we are was the result of our choices in life.
