Visiting the National Bookstore and checking some Wattpad stories I read published in a book.

Hello everyone; it's been a while since I last posted here, as I haven't read a book since then. As I checked, it was last month in I shared that Reading is an Old habit that I find hard to resist.. I may get engrossed with gadgets, watching some video clips, but in the end, I will open my Wattpad app and look for some stories to read. It was like a breath of fresh air, and I would forget whatever negative thoughts were in my mind as I was drawn into the world the author created. Was it only me? Or could you feel that too?
Hehe, I hope there is anyone here who could relate to me. Currently, my housemates are in their respective homes/family on my usual weekend. Which means I am quite alone in this big and spooky house 🤣. I could feel something at times! I got bored after sleeping, so I took my laptop as I planned to write. I was still thinking of what to share about until I saw these pictures in my gallery!

As I mentioned in my previous post, there was a specific author who I am following and reading her works. I was even waiting for her to have a book signing near my place!

It was displayed under Wattpad Books in one of the known bookstores here in our country, National Bookstore. I saw it the last time my sister asked me a favor to buy a Children's book for her son as a requirement at school. Thus, as addicted to romance books, I didn't let the chance slip!

Story Synopsis

It is a story of twins, Blake and Blaze, who their single Mother raised. They are happily living, and Blaze is about to get married, but sadly, that didn't happen as his pregnant fiancé was abused and killed together with their Mother. On the other side, Blake's girlfriend committed suicide. Left in grief and trying to chase impossible justice, the two ended up joining a specific Mafia group that promised to help them achieve what they wanted. Driven by anger and vengeance, both became one of the best assassins'.
They are almost on the verge of success, but destiny tests them again. Blazed was tasked to guard someone whom he fell in love with but later found out that one of the reasons why his Mom was killed. Blake? He stumbled into a lady who looked exactly like his fiancé, whom he believed was dead years ago!
Not only that, but the friend they thought would help them get the justice they wanted, one of the highest leaders in the Mafia, already knows the truth. What is the truth? Their mother was alive but was kept hidden from them.

The story involves fighting scenes using different types of guns and even hand-to-hand combat. I cannot help but commend the author for having wonderful imaginations and researching to make the scenes realistic.
This story is written in Taglish (Tagalog and English), though I hope she will publish her books in English versions too. Why? I highly recommend that her stories are worth reading and spending some pennies on.

After checking some of her books, I went to the children's corner and found what I was supposed to buy.

Here it is, as my nephews were still in pre-school. My role as always buying things for nephews and nieces as I don't yet have a kid to spoil.
