You know, in some ways here I agree 100% with You.
Two things do come up though...
No matter the situation, we are responsible to improve it - by any means necessary, which is good You call attention to it!

The other thing (absolutely "Not" trying to inspire anyone here), is "really - why does anyone want to be alive in this world anyway?
Since (keeping it real)..
Everything boils down to sex and money. Take those away, no reason to stay alive - "as the world is presented".
Yeah, pretty shitty...
To fix those problems, I think at a bare minimum You need a reboot - or "do over".
A Minister over the problems, basically to catalog events is a nice touch, as You mentioned..
But really only gives the cause an excuse to exist.
Oh well, right?
Funny thing if this all continues the Earth itself will cure the problem for us. I want to go "First"!
As they say... I'm not afread if death at all, it's the dying that scares Me...
