Admitting that my forte is not jewelry or costume jewelry, if you take a stroll through my blog you'll realize that I don't do any of this but every once in a while it's good to get out of the comfort zone.

But, I was so eager to join the Contest and this would serve me to make a special gift to a friend, and you wonder why her? Simple, I don't have my mother nearby, she lives in another city, as well as my sisters.

I said to myself, well this is the time to learn, something that I am postponing, because I really like these garments and more when they are handmade or woven bracelets, I love them, but I can't make up my mind.

I invite you to follow these simple steps and make and look an original and beautiful set of accessories, which combines shells and wood, perfect to adapt it to your beach style.

Maybe this project seems very common, but for me it is very meaningful.

I felt very motivated, inspired and got creative.

My friend and I have shared in different areas, as moms and friends; we love the beach, we love yoga, we scrutinize reading, we love our children, by the way, she also has 3....

That's why my special Mother's Day project is directed to that friend that life put in my way; my gift is for you.

On my last visit to the beach, I collected with my son several shells just to have them at home.

I bought the rings for the earrings.

This wire that I used, I recycled it from an electricity cable, it is not so thick but it did its job, with it I will roll the seashell.

Now I am going to place some beads, a pearl and a wooden bead are a must, I think they make a good combination.

I felt creative while making this jewelry for my friend, remembering that we were together before and during the pandemic, supporting and encouraging each other, it was very nice to have her around.

So I looked for other materials to make her a complete set and make a necklace.

For this I will use a leather cord and wooden beads, the pendant I had in storage and I thought it was ideal to use it.

With the help of the tinder, I heated the tip without burning it to be able to pass it through the hole, of course I helped myself with a needle.

Concurso Especial de mi querida comunidad @Needleworkmonday, hoy tengo el placer de unirme a este concurso, bendiciones y suerte para ustedes chicas bellas y empoderadas, por cierto, se nos fue otro mes.

Reconociendo que mi fuerte no es hacer joyas ni bisutería, es que si te das un paseo por mi blog te vas a dar cuenta que no hago nada de esto pero de vez en cuando es bueno salir de la zona de confort.

Pero, tenía tantas ganas de sumarme al Concurso y esto me serviría para hacer un regalo especial a una amiga, y te preguntarás y porque ella? Simple, no tengo a mi madre cerca, ella vive en otra ciudad, al igual que mis hermanas.

Me dije, pues este es el momento de aprender, algo que estoy postergando, porque realmente me gustan esas prendas y más cuando son artesanales o las pulseras tejidas, me encantan, pero no termino de decidirme.

Te invito a que sigas estos sencillos pasos y elabores y luzcas un original y hermoso juego de accesorios, el cuál combina conchas y madera, perfecto para adaptarlo a tu estilo playero.

Quizás este proyecto parezca muy común, pero para mí es muy significativo.

Me sentí muy motivada, inspirada y me puse creativa.

Mi amiga y yo hemos compartido en diferentes áreas, como madres y amigas; nos encanta la playa, amamos el yoga, escudriñamos la lectura, amamos a nuestros hijos, por cierto, ella también tiene 3...

Por eso mi proyecto especial por el Día de las Madres va dirigido a esa amiga que la vida me puso en el camino; mi regalo es para ti.

En mi ultima visita a la Playa, recogí con mi hijo varias conchas solo para tenerlas en casa.

Compré las argollas para los aretes

Este alambre que utilicé, lo reciclé de un cable de electricidad, no es tan grueso pero hizo su trabajo, con él enrollaré la concha de mar

Ahora voy a colocar unas cuentas, infaltable una perla y una de madera, creo que hacen buena combinación

Me sentí creativa mientras realizaba esta joyería para mi amiga, recordando que estuvimos juntas antes y durante la pandemia, apoyandonos y dandonos animo, fui muy grato tenerla cerca

Asi que busque otros materiales para realizarle un juego completo y hacer un collar.

Para ello utilizaré un cordon de cuero y cuentas de madera, el dije lo tenia guardado y me parecio ideal usarlo.

Con ayuda del yesquero calente la punta sin quemar para poder pasarlo por el agujero, claro me ayude con una aguja

Le realicé un nudo a cada extremo y para finalizar el collar, le coloque un cerrojo y alli me ayude con una pinza de mi esposo
