How my year 2021 is going || Initiative [🇪🇦 || 🇺🇲]

Welcome to my blog, it is an honor to have you here, without a doubt the year 2020 made us improve, grow and change, it was a year of reflection and of course much slower.

The year 2021 arrived and for many it was like starting an Olympic race again, so much so that nine months have already passed and we feel that it has flown by, or at least I feel that way.

That's why when I saw the initiative from our friend @lilililuki I didn't hesitate to participate, a different way to make an evaluation of how my year has been so far and of course share it with you.

Let's start this journey.

This year had a slow start, creating content for #Hive, taking care of my little #BebeSantiago, waiting for new opportunities, new projects, a journey with more perspective.

I was able to go to Ciudad Bolivar, meet Upata that strangely I didn't know it, I gave the Baptism Sacrament to my child, we reactivated the volunteering activities, I remembered things from my childhood with my nephew, I started.

But there is something important to highlight.

1.-What unforeseen event or occurrence has happened to you in the course of this 2021?

I returned to my job. Yes, after more than a year at home, due to different circumstances (which today I am grateful for). Now I am back to work, that part of me that feels that I should and can do many things is back.

But I did not start just like that, I started nothing more and nothing less with a repair in one of the sections of the national highway of my country, a road that connects two states and approximately 6 municipalities.

It was not an easy task but we knew that we were going to achieve it. It took us exactly 18 days, 18 days without rest and with a lot of commitment.
This was the beginning and really a great learning experience.

One of my goals since 2019 is to withdraw my Master's degree in Maintenance Management, for 2020 they finally accepted all the necessary documents and the possibility of a degree ceremony was looming. However, due to time and money limitations I could not go to withdraw it. For this 2021 is the commitment to finally withdraw my academic degree.

Although I have that debt, I have also focused on other things.

2.- What things or knowledge have you acquired in the course of this year 2021?

I can't leave out #Hive and how little by little the team that makes life in this wonderful community has been showing me the benefits of cryptocurrencies, games and art. Compared to previous years this 2021 has taught me about pages and Wallet. Investment and capitalization.

Another area that was hidden in me and allowed me to stay out of work was cooking,so I learned more in this area.

• Chinese food, I learned the basics in the preparation of rice and lumpias.

• Cake with gelatin, yes with gelatin is a sample of cake wrapped in gelatin, normally we made the cake and gelatin separately, this option allows you to have everything in one bite.

• Brownie, a recipe that although it seems simple has its trick and its charm, now I can say that I made it and it is very tasty.

I continue learning in the area of Civil Engineering, I continue learning in the social and political area of my country.

I still feel that I am in the process of adapting after 2020, but I am sure of one thing, I learned.

I learned to give priority to what fulfills me as a woman, as a mother, as a partner and as a professional. I had sacrificed a lot and took a lot for granted, now I have learned. That everything changes and the only sure thing is precisely that change.

I still have a long way to go and to learn, so here we continue.

For a few months of 2021, full of opportunities and achievements. For me and mine. Even for you.
