Es increíble lo rápido que pasa el tiempo. Se nos escapa entre los dedos y no nos damos cuenta.

He compartido con ustedes mis inicios y la maternidad y se que muchas cosas se me han escapado no podía dejar de compartir con ustedes este paso tan importantes que hemos dado, mi #BebeSantiago ya inicio el colegio.

En primer lugar debo aclarar algunas cosas:

• La decisión se tomó debido a lo que queríamos seguir aportando en el crecimiento del bebé.

• Pasamos por un proceso de selección del colegio, que fuese cerca del trabajo o de la casa, los espacios didácticos, formación del personal y por supuesto la parte financiera.

• Consideramos que ya era tiempo de ingresar en el colegio, porque ya no estaba en proceso de lactancia, ya avisaba para ir al baño y solo tenía pañal para casos especiales.

¿Cómo fue el proceso?

#BebeSantiago tiene a penas 3 años. Un poco grande para el maternal pero un poco pequeño para educación inicio, así que tuvimos que llevarlo a una entrevista en la escuela. Precisamente para ver qué tanta atencio debía recibir, que tanto podía llegar a comunicarse con la maestra y los compañeros del salón.

En esa entrevista creo que mas preocupada estaba yo. Él simplemente fue él y le fue muy bien.

Luego de algunos trámites administrativos y decidir quiénes podían retirarlo en el colegio, ya estaba listo para ingresar. ¿Su comodín? Su prima Camila. Que iba acompañarlo en todo el proceso.

Los incluimos en la compra del uniforme para que ya se fueran identificando con lo que venía, los termos, las loncheras todo se le iba mostrando y así estaban en el proceso de selección.

El Día Llegó

Una conversación, dónde se indicaba "si necesitas algo se lo pides a las maestra".

"Si necesitas ir al baño, por favor le dices a la maestra"

"Yo te busco rápido, allí vas a jugar".

Todo eso fue el preámbulo, para ingresar a su escuela, se quedó sin ningun problema. El día paso muy rápido, y sin ninguna novedad, al retirarlo solo venía con una enorme sonrisa y preguntas por realizar.

Preguntas que iban de lado a lado. Él con la curiosidad de saber dónde estábamos. Y nosotros con la curiosidad de que hizo durante todo el día.

Recomendaciones

Querida mamá, si estás pensando en iniciar el proceso del colegio, debes presentar inicialmente tu tiempo y sobre todo el tiempo de tu bebé.

Preferiblemente inicia el proceso cuando ya el bebé no dependa de los pañales, aunque en el caso de #BebeSantiago el colegio termino de cerrar ese ciclo.

Escoge el colegio que más se adapte a tus requerimientos, espacio, costo, docentes, distancia.

Confía en tu instinto y en todo lo que tú bebé puede transmitirte.

It's amazing how fast time goes by. It slips through our fingers and we don't even realize it.

I have shared with you my beginnings and motherhood and I know that many things have escaped me, I could not help but share with you this important step we have taken, my #BebeSantiago has already started school.

First of all I must clarify a few things:

• The decision was made because of what we wanted to continue contributing to the baby's growth.

• We went through a process of selection of the school, that it was close to work or home, didactic spaces, staff training and of course the financial part.

• We considered that it was time to enter the school, because she was no longer breastfeeding, she already told us to go to the bathroom and she only had a diaper for special cases.

**How was the process?

#BebeSantiago is only 3 years old. A little big for kindergarten but a little small for early education, so we had to take him to an interview at school. Precisely to see how much attention he should receive, how much he could communicate with the teacher and classmates.

In that interview I think I was more worried about me. He was just him and he did very well.

After some administrative paperwork and deciding who could pick him up from school, he was ready to enter. His wild card? His cousin Camila. Who was going to accompany him through the whole process.

We included them in the purchase of the uniform so that they could identify themselves with what was coming, the thermos, the lunch boxes, everything was shown to them and so they were in the selection process.

The Day Arrived

A conversation, where it was indicated "if you need something, ask the teachers.

"If you need to go to the bathroom, please tell the teacher".

"I'll find you quickly, there you go to play".

All this was the preamble, to enter her school, she stayed without any problem. The day went by very fast, and without any news, when we picked him up he only came with a huge smile and questions to ask.

Questions that went from side to side. He was curious to know where we were. And we with the curiosity of what he did during the whole day.

Recommendations

Dear mom, if you are thinking of starting the process of school, you must initially present your time and above all your baby's time.

Preferably start the process when the baby is no longer dependent on diapers, although in the case of #BebeSantiago the school finished closing that cycle.

Choose the school that best suits your requirements, space, cost, teachers, distance.

Trust your instinct and everything your baby can transmit to you.
