The Riddle of the Sphinx

The Sphinx has long represented mystery, the keeper of secrets and riddles. In Greek myth, the Sphinx was wreaking havoc, destroying the land, lest some one step forward and solve her riddle. Many with dubious intent tried, failed and were killed. The riddle at first appears cryptic, but in hindsight intelligible.

How oft are we presented with apparent mysteries, that later should have been clear as day?

There maybe suffering (destruction) along the way until we awaken to the reality of what is.

Yes, drawing is the foundation of everything else. Painting is simply drawing with paint after all.😀
