Quick Sketch

Half my work with these quick sketches is collecting faces and then deciding which ones to draw.

As mentioned in a previous post, younger faces are harder to draw, so they're something I need to practice.

My aim is to draw these as quickly and as spontaneously as possible with little or no editing. This is where the effort in the exercise comes into play.

I did have to do some editing on the face once I figured out the proportions were wrong.

I tried to suggest the curls by erasing some of the shading.

There are plenty more images for me to work through.
