Figurative Graphite Pencil Sketch

There's no quick sketch for Sunday as I've been putting in time to complete this latest drawing.

I'm still undecided on a name for it.

There is a version of this that I am painting in oils, which I also worked on today. But you'll have to wait a while for that one.

The figure was composed from several photo references as I wanted to modify the pose. I think I've done a reasonable job of this. I'm improving over past attempts.

I guess if you render enough human figures, the anatomy starts to stick and make sense. I can now see the landmark points of the anatomy that form the reference to others, in other words, mostly where the skeleton makes close contact to the surface, such as, hips, knees, elbows, ribs, ect.

Now it's time to prepare the newsletter for my collectors and also do the rounds on social media.
