A Look Inside the Studio

Here's a look inside the studio. The look of the studio changes over time as various works are sold and new ones are created and hung on the walls.

I enjoy have the walls full of artwork. It was something I always wanted as a child. So, now as an adult, that's possible. 😀

As you can see, the studio is not that big; barely enough to swing a cat in as they say. After having a couple of monster sized warehouse studios and shivering in those throughout the Winter, I'm happy to have a small cosy warm studio these days.

Because the studio is so small, I have to optimize every square centimetre of space, hence I have my easel mounted on wheels so I can quickly re-organize the studio for different tasks.

On the easel you can see the current workshop exercise I am working through with one of my students.

Could you not stick up artwork as a child?

Guess a warehouse would be too hot in winter and too cold in winter depending on where you’re at. And an ever evolving look would be pretty cool 🙃

I had one or two posters, but I had other plans I guess that made my mother nervous. 😀

There's a reason most of us live in houses and not warehouses. 😉
