It was another busy day at work. I spent most of my time setting up my new laptop that I requested. In involved installing my required applications and configuring all my existing permissions to various software systems and databases. In the afternoon, I started putting up our Christmas tree.

Here's our unadorned, barebone Christmas tree. Some of our neighbors are wondering why I have put it up this early. Well, in the Philippines, we start the Christmas season in September and if I am being Filipino, I am quite late in the preparations.
