🌊🌅 Explorando Morrocoy: un día en Cayo Muerto 🌅🌊[ESP-ENG]

¡Hola! Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Hoy quiero compartirles la continuación de mi experiencia en un viaje increíble. Visité Morrocoy junto a mi @melitzamusic como regalo de cumpleaños.

En esta oportunidad, quiero contarles el resto del día en el primer cayo que conocimos: Cayo muerto.

Después del grandioso amanecer que vieron en las publicaciones anteriores, comenzó el día en este maravilloso cayo. Tras ponernos de acuerdo con otra viajera y su hijo para alquilar un toldo y compartirlo, nos sentimos lo suficientemente tranquilos y en confianza como para dejar nuestras cosas allí y dar un paseo por el cayo para conocerlo mejor.

Este cayo tiene un lugar muy particular llamado "la piscina", que es un espacio entre unos manglares donde hay una mayor profundidad que en el resto del cayo. Como su sobrenombre sugiere, parece una pequeña piscina. Allí nos encontramos con peces bastante curiosos que se nos acercaron mientras disfrutábamos de ese espacio. No tenemos fotos de ese lugar porque no teníamos un forro para el teléfono y me daba temor llevarlo hasta allí, jaja. Pero fue una gran experiencia.

El lugar al que me refiero está muy cerca de la segunda foto de la publicación, y como pueden ver, el agua es muy clara, casi transparente. Nosotros estábamos realmente encantados; el agua estaba fresca, el sol ya estaba alto en el cielo, y tuvimos la oportunidad de capturar bonitos recuerdos, como en la tercera foto de la publicación.

Como pueden ver en la cuarta foto, disfrutamos al máximo de la hora del almuerzo. La agencia de viajes ya tenía todo planificado para nosotros, así que no tuvimos que preocuparnos por nada. Nos avisaron y nos entregaron nuestro almuerzo a la hora indicada, y lo disfrutamos al máximo. El pescado estaba delicioso junto con los típicos tostones, un almuerzo que no puede faltar cuando uno va a la playa.

Después de comer, esperamos un rato relajados en nuestro toldo, nos aplicamos más protector solar porque el sol estaba bastante fuerte, y luego volvimos al agua para seguir disfrutando del cayo.

Horas después, se acercaba el momento de partir, así que recogimos nuestras cosas, me cubrí con más ropa porque ya comenzaba a sentir que me estaba quemando, y nos acercamos a tomarnos una foto junto al letrero de bienvenida al cayo. Parece que hicimos todo al revés, jaja, pero queríamos tener ese recuerdo antes de irnos. Luego, nos dirigimos al muelle, nos tomamos otras fotos y como pueden ver, ya estábamos completamente cubiertos de protector solar. Aún así, terminamos quemados, jaja. Aunque, valió totalmente la pena, como pueden ver en las fotos, el lugar era increíble, todo estuvo muy bonito, y la pasamos muy bien.

Después de regresar en la lancha a Chichiriviche, esperamos nuestro transporte que nos llevaría hasta la posada donde pasaríamos la noche. Los guías nos indicaron cuáles serían nuestras habitaciones, y como pueden ver en la foto número 9, esa era la vista desde nuestra habitación, un atardecer muy bonito con un paisaje espectacular. Dejamos nuestras cosas en la habitación y nos dirigimos a la piscina para seguir disfrutando un rato. Todo estuvo muy agradable, pero no pasamos demasiado tiempo en la piscina porque ya estábamos cansados. Fue un día largo lleno de mucho disfrute.

Al final, nos bañamos, nos arreglamos, y estuvimos listos justo a tiempo para cenar. Pedimos cosas diferentes para probar un poco de todo y compartir entre nosotros. La verdad es que la comida estuvo mejor de lo que esperaba, la disfrutamos mucho, y como pueden ver en la foto, el sol no tuvo piedad con nosotros, jaja. Estábamos quemados, pero felices.

Después de cenar, los guías nos informaron que había un paseo por Chichiriviche, pero nosotros ya no podíamos más con nuestras vidas, jajaja. Les dijimos que en otra oportunidad lo haríamos, ya que estábamos agotados. Así que nos preparamos para dormir, ya que queríamos descansar lo suficiente para disfrutar al máximo del siguiente día (Que superaría todas nuestras expectativas). Así concluyó nuestro primer día en Morrocoy, una experiencia que no dejaba de sorprendernos en ningún momento y que quedó grabada en nuestra memoria como un viaje increíble.

Pronto les traeré el resto del viaje, que de verdad fue un viaje en el que cada momento que pasaba se volvía mejor que el anterior. Fue una experiencia increíble.

🌊🌅 Exploring Morrocoy: A day in Cayo Muerto 🌅🌊

Hello! I hope you are doing well. Today, I want to share with you the continuation of my incredible journey. I visited Morrocoy with my friend @melitzamusic as a birthday gift.

This time, I want to tell you about the rest of the day on the first cay we visited: Cayo Muerto.

After the magnificent sunrise you saw in the previous posts, the day began on this wonderful cay. After agreeing with another traveler and her son to rent a beach tent and share it, we felt comfortable enough to leave our things there and explore the cay to get to know it better.

This cay has a very unique place called "La Piscina," which is a space among the mangroves where there is greater depth than the rest of the cay. As the nickname suggests, it looks like a small pool. We encountered some curious fish there that approached us while we enjoyed that space. We don't have photos of that place because we didn't have a phone cover, and I was afraid to take it there, haha. But it was a great experience.

The place I'm referring to is very close to the second photo in the post, and as you can see, the water is very clear, almost transparent. We were truly enchanted; the water was refreshing, the sun was high in the sky, and we had the opportunity to capture beautiful memories, as shown in the third photo in the post.

As you can see in the fourth photo, we thoroughly enjoyed lunchtime. The travel agency had everything planned for us, so we didn't have to worry about anything. They notified us and delivered our lunch on time, and we savored every bite. The fish was delicious along with the typical tostones, a lunch that can't be missed when you go to the beach.

After eating, we relaxed for a while under our beach tent, applied more sunscreen because the sun was quite strong, and then returned to the water to continue enjoying the cay.

Hours later, it was time to leave, so we gathered our things, put on more clothes because I was starting to feel sunburned, and took a photo by the welcome sign at the cay. It seems like we did everything in reverse, haha, but we wanted to have that memory before leaving. Then, we headed to the dock, took more photos, and as you can see, we were completely covered in sunscreen. Nevertheless, we ended up sunburned, haha. But it was totally worth it, as you can see in the photos, the place was incredible, everything was beautiful, and we had a great time.

After returning by boat to Chichiriviche, we waited for our transportation to take us to the inn where we would spend the night. The guides told us which rooms would be ours, and as you can see in photo number 9, that was the view from our room, a beautiful sunset with a spectacular landscape. We left our things in the room and headed to the pool to continue enjoying for a while. Everything was very pleasant, but we didn't spend too much time in the pool because we were already tired. It was a long day filled with a lot of enjoyment.

In the end, we showered, got ready, and were just in time for dinner. We ordered different dishes to try a bit of everything and share among us. Honestly, the food was better than I expected, and we enjoyed it a lot, as you can see in the photo, the sun showed no mercy on us, haha. We were sunburned but happy.

After dinner, the guides informed us about a tour of Chichiriviche, but we couldn't handle it anymore, hahaha. We told them that we would do it another time since we were exhausted. So, we prepared to sleep because we wanted to rest enough to fully enjoy the next day (which would exceed all our expectations). That's how our first day in Morrocoy concluded, an experience that kept surprising us at every moment and left a lasting memory of an incredible journey.

I will soon bring you the rest of the trip, which truly was a journey where each moment that passed became better than the last. It was an incredible experience.
