"Roots" es una canción de la banda de Rap y Reggae Venezolana Papashanty Saund System, de su álbum Ashanty Granpa del año 2005.
Esta fue una agrupación que duró poco tiempo en escena, y estuvo compuesta por músicos pertenecientes a otros grupos, como es el caso del baterista Danel Sarmiento de Desorden Público, Juan Chacón "OneChot" Negus Nagast y Alejandro Turola de Circo Vulkano, entre otros.

"Roots" is a song by the Venezuelan Rap and Reggae band Papashanty Saund System, from their album Ashanty Granpa in 2005.
This was a group that lasted a short time on stage, and was made up of musicians belonging to other groups, such as the drummer Danel Sarmiento of Desorden Público, Juan Chacón "OneChot" Negus Nagast and Alejandro Turola from Circo Vulkano, among others.

La canción "Roots" está hecha con mucha espiritualidad, logrando fusionar perfectamente el ritmo del Reggae con la métrica lirical del Rap. Fue una canción que escuché muchísimo y que ahora intenté recordar a través de este pequeño ensayo en mi habitación, el cual quiero compartir con Ustedes.

The song "Roots" is made with a lot of spirituality, managing to perfectly fuse the rhythm of Reggae with the lyrical metric of Rap. It was a song that I listened to a lot and that I now try to remember through this little rehearsal in my room, which I want to share with you.
