Sharing Christmas with friends
Hello my dear friends Hivers and the Weekend Experiences community, I like to greet you and share a little about how my Christmas is going. The holiday season is in all its splendor and I have been able to enjoy it pleasantly with my friends every weekend.
After so many occupations, these December meetings have become a respite and some distraction for me, as well as for my brother Leo. The first Christmas dinner began at 5 in the afternoon and while we waited for everyone invited to it to finish arriving, we took some photos of the decoration that our friends lovingly made at the place.
As night fell, it was filled with emotional moments between words, gifts, toasts and good food; which were typical Christmas dishes from Venezuela, such as hallaca, chicken salad, pasticho and there was also a delicious bread cake that we could all enjoy together.
It was a great night, where we were able to enjoy, spend pleasant time and capture it photographically for memories.
Not everything stayed there, the next day we had one more sharing with another work team and friends from the congregation where I serve God. One of the things I did was help with the decoration so that the place looked cozy for those present and beautiful in the photographs, providing support to my friend Jefferson who, as a man, had no idea how to decorate the place haha.
Although the hours in this sharing were not so long, it was nice to be able to be among friends playing good topics of conversation, the occasional joke and listening to reflective words from Jefferson who made an effort to prepare homemade Chinese rice that was very good to the palate.
Even if life is not rosy, it has charming moments, full of learning and wonderful and significant experiences; as well as people who in the passage of our lives in one way or another leave a mark and how beautiful it is to be able to share with those people who add in some way to your existence, even more so during these Christmas seasons than beyond being commercial like They are for many, they are emotional seasons, which call for unity, reconciliation, to meet with family and friends, to open the doors of our homes to others offering our best wishes and not only in words but through actions.
I am happy to be able to share these moments with you, my dear readers, and I close by sharing the following phrase:
Let's always cultivate good relationships with others, be a light in someone's life during this time... I hope that together we can understand the true meaning of Christmas.
