Hello friends Hivers and Family & Friends greetings on this day. I want to share a nice experience in a workshop called "Illuminating hearts" (special children's day); which was made for children with low resources through the foundation in which I am part "Give a smile" in the city of Maracaibo-Venezuela. A very nice morning where these children were able to learn balloon twisting techniques as well as us the team of volunteers.
Hola amigos Hivers y de Family & Friends saludos en este día. Quiero compartirles una linda experiencia en un taller llamado "Iluminando corazones" (especial día del niño); el cual, se realizo para niños con bajos recursos a través de la fundación en la que formo parte "Regala una sonrisa" en la ciudad de Maracaibo-Venezuela. Una mañana muy bonita donde estos niños pudieron aprender técnicas de globoflexia al igual que nosotros el equipo de voluntarios.
I can tell you that I learned something new together with my brother Leo and our friend Maikel and the rest of the volunteer team on Friday. The girl from Deco gifts Lozano showed us some balloon twisting figures such as making a puppy, sword and hat with long balloons; Which, also later I would teach the children, since first we as volunteers taught us the techniques and then help the little ones.
Puedo decirles que aprendí algo nuevo junto a mi hermano Leo y nuestro amigo Maikel y el resto del equipo de voluntarios el día viernes. La chica de Deco gifts Lozano nos enseño algunas figuras en globoflexia tales como realizar un perrito, espada y sombrero con globos largos; las cuales, también posteriormente enseñaría a los niños, ya que primero a nosotros como voluntarios nos enseño las técnicas para luego ayudar a los pequeños.
Once the children are in the facilities that lend us for this work, we started with a prayer by the president of the Jhohandris Polo foundation and give their good breakfast to the children, delicious hamburgers next to their glass of soda to start giving this workshop. After giving them the food, work team tables were organized to teach them with the instructor this technique and that they could make their figures themselves. The kids were so encouraged, so happy to be able to have that opportunity.
Una vez estando los niños en las instalaciones que nos prestan para esta labor, iniciamos con una oración por parte del presidente de la fundación Jhohandris Polo y darle su buen desayuno a los niños, unas deliciosas hamburguesas junto a su vaso de refresco para comenzar a dar este taller. Luego de darles la comida se organizaron mesas de equipo de trabajo para enseñarles junto a la instructora esta técnica y que ellos mismos pudiesen realizar sus figuras. Los niños estaban tan animados, tan felices de poder tener esa oportunidad.
At the end of the workshop, the certificates of the course were delivered to the children who were registered in the community to participate in this and they were given sweets, as well as then the rest of the children of the community arrived to participate in the second round of activities that included recreation, animation, animated characters, sweets, cotufas, cotton candy, trampoline and our hands to paint faces and do a little of everything.
Culminado el taller se hizo entrega de los certificados del curso a los niños que fueron censados de la comunidad para participar en este y se les entrego golosinas, así como luego llegaron el resto de niños de la comunidad para participar de la segunda tanda de actividades que incluían recreación, animación, personajes animados, golosinas, cotufas, algodón de azúcar, trampolín y nuestras manos para pintar caritas y hacer de todo un poco.
A morning and part of the afternoon very active, full of work but with the great satisfaction in our hearts of being able to be agents of change in society sowing values in these children in the activities that are programmed, as well as being able to give them such a different day full of joy, love and fun; to which they do not have access because they are children of limited resources; Therefore, within the Foundation we work towards making it possible in some way that they can enjoy the stage of their childhood leaving indelible traces of happiness and hope for the future.
Una mañana y parte de la tarde muy activa, llena de mucho trabajo pero con la gran satisfacción en nuestros corazones de poder ser agentes de cambio en la sociedad sembrando valores en estos niños en las actividades que se programan, como también de poder regalarles un día tan diferente lleno de alegría, amor y de diversión; a la cual, ellos no tienen acceso por el hecho de ser niños de escasos recursos; por lo que, dentro de fundación trabajamos en pro de hacer posible de alguna manera que puedan disfrutar de la etapa de su infancia dejando huellas imborrables de felicidad y esperanza al porvenir.
It really is such beautiful work and we enjoy being able to light up the lives of others, especially children. Although it is not easy, since it involves knocking on doors that can be added to bless the children through the foundation, for God nothing is impossible is he who places the feeling in people to be sponsors and contribute their grain of sand. The children could in the middle of everything also enjoy ponquecitos, sweets, cookies, closing the day with a flourish with their well-deserved lunch, we enjoyed being able to reach out to those in need to go to places where others do not arrive or do not act in showing love to others.
Realmente es un trabajo tan hermoso y que disfrutamos poder iluminar la vida de otros, especialmente los niños. Aunque no es fácil, ya que implica tocar puertas que puedan sumarse para bendecir a los niños través de la fundación, para Dios nada es imposible es él quien coloca el sentir en las personas de ser patrocinadores y aportar su granito de arena. Los niños pudieron en medio de todo disfrutar también de ponquecitos, golosinas, galletas, cerrando el día con broche de oro con su buen merecido almuerzo, nos gozamos de poder tender la mano a los necesitados de ir a lugares donde otros no llegan o no se accionan en mostrar amor al prójimo.
After so much active movement with the large number of children attending, after they retired to their homes we enjoyed cotton candy and our well-deserved lunch with the entire work team.
Luego de tanta movida activa con el gran número de niños asistentes, después de que se retiraron a sus hogares disfrutamos de algodón de azúcar y nuestro merecido almuerzo junto a todo el equipo de trabajo.
I close this content with a nice photo from the team of the foundation (we are more) and telling you that this world needs more good people, full of love, kindness and joy to distribute to others. In each one of us is that wonderful and beautiful option of being instruments that spread goodness in this world, as well as being an inspiration and good example for others, especially in children, so that they rise as a generation that works for the good of society.
