FungiFriday : Hypholoma and Cookeina

This is my contribution to #fungifriday by @ewkaw

Mushroom plants are one of the most beautiful photography objects, because this plant has its own beauty in terms of shape, color and even various types of mushrooms that grow in the wild.

As we know, mushrooms thrive in places with high humidity and we can find them in areas located in the highlands and where there are still lots of shady trees. Today is my agenda to get some mushrooms and I want to share with friends in the #FungiFriday community, my journey to get mushrooms
I have to travel to several places, because many of the lands that I visited previously have started to be fenced off by local farmers for cultivation, perhaps because it is now the rainy season so many farmers are using their land to start planting plants that can be consumed again to support their families.

When I was looking for places that had the potential to grow mushrooms, I saw that the land was still empty, lots of branches had started to fall from the trees and had not been fenced off, this might be the right place for me to look for some mushroom plants. When I was looking for some mushroom objects to photograph I found two types of mushrooms and they were very beautiful and charming and I wanted to share them with friends in the #fungifriday community

  • Hypholoma

This is a very attractive mushroom with a brown color and a cap. This is the first time I have seen this mushroom and it looks very beautiful with the mushroom stem looking very strong. This mushroom grows two branches, one of which is smaller in size and grows well on a pile of soil, I have to use tools to lift it from the ground and take it to a place with enough light. Here are some photos I captured using a smartphone camera from several different angles.

  • Cookeina

Today I rediscovered cookeina mushrooms with a different color than I usually find. Previously I had found this mushroom plant with a bright red color and some had fine hairs on the cup of this type of mushroom. That day I was very happy because I found this mushroom which was orange and had fine hairs on the cup, I thought this mushroom only had one color, but I was wrong because there are still many mushrooms out there that have more diverse shapes and colors variety.

I found this cookeina mushroom on a wooden twig that was almost rotting and I took the initiative to bring it back to a place with enough light so that my photos today look more beautiful and charming. Here are some photos that I want to share with friends
