Following this section that I have called the "Basic Theory of Trading-Indexes", I want to continue instructing the community in this type of assets so famous and that throughout history have made a lot of money to the Traders, of course, have also made lose, but this is one of the assets that I really like to operate, because it is very reliable and takes very good trends that can be exploited and win, as long as we know what we are doing of course.

In that sense, the reason why I do this section, is due to the little knowledge that retail or novice traders have about the large number of assets that exist. Many operate in the markets without really knowing what that asset is, what it is composed of and although they do not believe it, it is very important to know what we are going to work and to know what intrinsic risks they have, in this way we can determine if one asset or another can suit the capital that we have.

What is the S&P 500 Index?

Many investors use the price/earnings ratio (P/E) to determine whether a stock is overvalued or undervalued. The S&P 500 index allows similar trading for the entire market, as it covers most of the market, even, Warren Buffett himself, owner of Berkshire Hathaway, recommends investing in the S&P 500, where he instructed his wife, to put 10% of the funds in short term government bonds and 90% in the S&P 500 index fund after his death.

These indexes are widely followed by most Traders and investors around the world, in such sense, our investment portfolio should be as diversified as possible to take the least risk and protect our funds, which means that, we should not only trade currencies or cryptocurrencies, these indexes have very good trends that we all can take advantage of to make money. Siguiendo esta sección que he llamado la "Teoría Básica del Trading-Indices", quiero seguir instruyendo a la comunidad en este tipo de activos tan famosos y que a lo largo de la historia han hecho ganar muchísimo dinero a los Traders, por supuesto, han hecho perder también, pero este es uno de los activos que me gusta mucho operar, debido a que es muy confiable y toma tendencias muy buenas que se pueden aprovechar y ganar, siempre y cuando sepamos que es lo que estamos haciendo claro está.

En tal sentido, la razón por la que hago esta sección, es debido al poco conocimiento que poseen los Traders minoristas o novatos sobre la gran cantidad de activos que existen. Muchos operan en los mercados sin saber realmente que es ese activo, que lo componen y aunque no lo crean es muy importante conocer que vamos a trabajar y saber que riesgos intrínsecos poseen estos, de esta manera podemos determinar si un bien u otro puede adecuarse al capital que nosotros poseemos.

Que es el Índice S&P 500?

Continuando la serie sobre la teoría básica del Trading, enfocándonos en esta ocasión en los índices, está vez hablare sobre el índice S&P 500. Anteriormente escribí sobre el índice Dow Jones, para aquellos que no pudieron ver esta publicación, pueden acceder a ella haciendo Click AQUÍ.

Es un índice bursátil, básicamente una canasta que contiene las 500 compañías de acciones estadounidenses seleccionadas con la mayor capitalización, respondiendo bajo el nombre de Standard & Poor's 500. El S&P 500 es el segundo índice basado en activos más grande del mundo que es seguido por la mayoría de inversores, el primero de ellos lo mencioné en el primer post de esta serie, este es por supuesto el Dow Jones.

De donde se origina el valor del índice?

El valor del índice refleja la capitalización total de las empresas incluidas en el mismo, entre las empresas más importantes que lo componen están: Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson, Berkshire Hathaway, JPMorgan Chase y Alphabet.

Muchos inversores utilizan las relaciones precio / beneficio (P / E) para determinar si una acción está sobrevalorada o infravalorada. El índice S&P 500 permite realizar una operación similar para todo el mercado, ya que cubre la mayor parte del mismo, incluso, el mismo Warren Buffett, propietario de Berkshire Hathaway, recomienda invertir en el S&P 500, donde le dio instrucciones a su esposa, para que pusiera el 10% de los fondos en bonos del gobierno a corto plazo y el 90% en el fondo índice S&P 500 después de su muerte.

Conclusión

Estos índices son muy seguidos por la mayoría de los Traders e inversionistas de todo el mundo, en tal sentido, nuestra cartera de inversión debe de estar lo más diversificada posible para correr el menor riesgo y proteger nuestros fondos, lo que quiere decir es que, no solo debemos operar divisas o criptomonedas, estos índices tienen muy buenas tendencias que todos podemos aprovechar para ganar dinero. Diversifiquen su inversión y no coloquen los nuevos en una sola canasta.
