Hello Justin, I know it's been a while since I stopped by, but I am happy to hear this great news up my return to Hive. Altough there is still little bump on the road, but hopefully that will be the last. Nevertheless, they should let you stay with your family since you re married. Anyway, unfortunately they are always laws and regulations everywhere and I have no idea what they are in Cambodia. I don't even know what they are here in Canada, lol.

Canada is one of the toughest cookies, we lost $3,000 USD on tickets because Canada denied us a transit visa. Lesson learned, don't be a poor Cambodian and think you can just fly through Mexico, the USA, or Canada on the way to somewhere else. Canada told us we lacked the necessary funds to transit their airports, even though the visa form makes no mention a monetary requirement.

The world is a mess, and we just want to live somewhere where we feel welcome. Thanks for stopping by chef, we hope the future is much brighter.

Oh boy! I am so sorry to hear that, yet I am not surprised about Canadian policies! Although I ah glad to be Canadian, because I don't know what would happen to me if I stayed in Slovakia.

Anyway, I wish you fast and safe return to Cambodia. I believe the future is brighter for you and your family. Hopefully for the world too, but that will take much longer 🙈

It's okay, it's been a good experience in some ways, and I think my wife realizes why I left the west and found a better quality of life in Cambodia. Everything happens for a reason, and I honestly only wanted to visit the USA for a few weeks, but because a tourist visa is nothing short of impossible, full immigration was the only way. You gotta live where you're welcome, and it's clear the west is not a welcome place for this family.

You also have to live where you feel happy and it's clear that's Cambodia. By the way, I just Googled Cambodia photos and some of the ancient landmarks came up that I know from YouTube music videos I listed to all day. I always though that was Thailand! Wow! It must be really beautiful there! Definitely a place I would love to visit someday!
