~ Boredom ~

Greetings pupil.

Boredom is an addiction that many can't entangle away from but in my case, it is an occasion for me to search for my favorite book and situate myself in my comfortable position. Boredom hours are commonly spent interacting or watching movies. These are quite common ways of escaping through boredom, but to me, these are quite rare cases.

"Build your life in a way that even boredom doesn't cause you misery."
Life has its own way around with us and we are the Queens and Kings, so what really matters is how we take the challenges and deal with them individually. That is what I am trying to emphasize on. Boredom is peculiarly known as the house of the devil in my mothers' hometown. It is maybe a religious myth too but I'm not so sure.

Coping up with situations and working on them does also fall under the same category. Fighting your boredom is also not a casual thing. Although that bothers me it is my personal irritation not one of a global problem. Yet, I think it is a topic to dive into and spend some attention towards.

I won't be stretching this topic much longer. Boredom can be looked up as a medium to strengthen our habits and interests, then an opening for laziness or unfruitful remedies taking over our lives.

This is my fourth post in HIVE. I hope to connect well with everyone. This is me here, Lemonade1, I am a bookworm, meaning I love reading books more than anything. It is my first priority and also my last. Besides everything else, I love traveling and I aim to create my travel diary here.

~~ Life is too short, so I like when we argue less and converse more. Be productive than being futile. Spread our wings and fly freely. I hope you are with me. ~~

Assalamualaikum, may peace be upon you.

Welcome to my Community, and thank you for deciding to post here. You raise an interesting question here... in your post, you've said:

Boredom is an addiction

I have never really thought of the words "boredom" and "addiction" having a synonymous relationship. But then again... I have never really thought about being addicted to having nothing to do! Having Multiple Sclerosis, I am not able to do the things I used to. As much as I might try... in the end, I usually end up hurting myself for trying. So in this case, I could say I would have an addiction to wanting my old body back lol. Regardless, you have created a post that certainly has a positive ending, to something others might not feel too positive about.

This message seems to almost have two meanings; Boredom as a means to strengthen our habits and interests, while being an opening for laziness and unfruitful things taking control of us. I see a positive, with a negative. Perhaps I am not understanding what your true vibe is. I would love to hear more about what you think in regards to this topic!

Opps sorry, it will be "*than" not "then". I am trying to emphasize that if we utilize our time when we are bored on something which we have a strong interest over instead on something that we are doing for the moment, it will eventually help us and our time will be utilized than become a waste.

I have seen people claim that they are lazy, that they are often bored and with that in mind still they want to do SOMETHING but they don't know what. Eventually, what happens is that they waste their time on doing things which are fruitless and later they are never back at it.

I feel boredom can be taken as a scope for us to build our selves and shape our life. That's it. Thank you so much in responding with such eager. I feel more encouraged to continue posting here.

That's what I thought you were leaning towards, but I try to always leave a comment when I can.

I'm usually only able to leave my "Thank you" graphic from my thoughtfulposts Curation Account. Thank you for taking the time to come back and explain...
