WIP de NeedleworkMonday | Mi inicio a este desafío [Esp/Eng]
Feliz inicio de semana, que sea de bendiciones y alegrías para todos, hoy estoy muy entusiasmada por unirme al desafío de @NeedleworMonday el cual pueden ver que se trata Aquí, les invito a unirse si cumplen con lo que piden.
Les confieso que me enteré de esta comunidad, en cuanto leí la publicación de este desafío, desde ese entonces me dio la curiosidad por volver a una de mis paciones que es la costura, no porque sea experta en ella, sino porque siempre he andado entre costureras y me gustaría ser una de ellas. De alta costura.
Por eso, aunque ya lo había hecho antes, me aventure a coser a mano, otra vez hace un tiempo atrás, ya que no tenía máquina de coser, pero estaba con esas ganas de poder crear con mis propias manos los modelos que yo quisiera para mis niñas.
Es por eso que después que nació mi hija menor Ambar, cuando estaba recién nacida le hice varias prendas de vestir, como la que les mostré hace días y mi hija Arianna también quería que le hiciera algo a ella.
Entonces le estaba haciendo una camisa tipo Top color melón, como esta que les mostraré, es de una tela suave, pero no es algodón, no recuerdo el nombre, busque el modelo de como hacerla por YouTube, hice los patrones y la cosí a mano, con cada puntada estaba bien emocionada de ver como quedaría, la hice toda forrada, por ser a mano, no quería que se le vieran las costuras, aunque las que se le veía por la parte de las tiras, que se amarran en la espalda se veía muy bien.
Con esfuerzo y dedicación poco a poco lo fui cociendo hasta que lo pude terminar y ella lo lució espectacular, modestia aparte, pero si quedo bello, je, je, je. Cuando se lo puso, mis vecinas, que son costureras, quedaron encantadas, al igual que cuando le hacía las de Ambar, decían que no les gustaba coser a mano y mucho menos estar basteando antes de coser a mano.

Sin embargo, para acompañar el top, le estaba haciendo este pantalón corto, de color blanco, del mismo tipo de tela, para que le hiciera juego, lo hice con el mismo procedimiento del top, ya lo llevaba bastante adelantado como lo pueden ver.
Estaba como a 3 cm de terminar de coser la pretina, le metí la elástica, todavía sin cerrar, los bolsillos ya le había hecho un dobladillo, ya que van por la parte de afuera como un decorativo, lo tenía basteado con un hilo amarillo, para que sobresalte de la costura blanca.
Por cierto, en las imágenes trate de tomarle las fotografías que se note la costura a mano como me queda, al derecho y al revés, en la parte de la pretina. La verdad que me queda muy bien, estoy orgullosa de eso y puedo decirles que lo aprendí hacer así, en cuarto grado de primaria, cuando me enseñó, mi querida maestra de manualidades.
Por lo general, todas las prendas que he hecho las basteo para tener más seguridad de coser y que me quede bien, ya que la costura a mano, es mucho más complicada y se cansa uno más haciéndola que a máquina y es una pena, que no quede bien.
También me faltaba agarrarle el ruedo y cerrar por la entre pierna, para tener listo este lindo pantalón corto para mi princesa Arianna.
¿Por qué, no lo termine? Bueno tengo una tía que es costurera y tiene varias máquinas de coser dañada y ella viendo que estaba cosiendo a mano muy bien, pero que también estaba sufriendo mucho de dolor en las manos, me daban calambres y la espalda me dolía muchísimo, yo con tal de crear cosas lindas para mis niñas, me quejaba un poco del dolor; sin embargo, no paraba.
Ella me dijo que me daría una máquina, que la iba a mandar arreglar primero, le compré unas piezas que le faltaba y pare la costura a mano, a la espera de mi máquina. De la emoción compré varias telas para hacer otras prendas para mis niñas.
Sin embargo, este pantalón tiene más de dos años esperando la máquina que mi tía me había ofrecido. Simplemente, lo fui dejando por otras cosas, con la ilusión de tener una máquina.
Ahora lo he sacado del saco en donde tengo telas, fieltro, cuero, cintas, elásticos y pare usted de contar, de lo que he venido acumulando je, je, je. Para que sea MI WIP
Cuando leí este desafío, se me vino a la cabeza este proyecto y por fin lo saqué del olvido, pronto les estaré enseñando como se le verá este conjunto a mi bella Arianna, aunque desde ya les digo ha crecido mucho, si le queda será bastante justo je, je, je, igual lo voy a terminar, es muy bonito para que siga esperando que lo termine.
Espero pronto estar trayendo este WIP (trabajo en progreso) y mostrarles cómo quedo con la modelo y todo. Así que otra vez estoy manos a los hilos y a las agujas. Gracias a esta comunidad, que me generó las ganas por seguir creando en este arte de las costuras.

I confess that I found out about this community, as soon as I read the publication of this challenge, since then I was curious to return to one of my hobbies which is sewing, not because I am an expert in it, but because I have always walked among seamstresses and I would like to be one of them. Haute couture.
That's why, although I had already done it before, I ventured to sew by hand, again some time ago, since I didn't have a sewing machine, but I wanted to be able to create with my own hands the models I wanted for my girls.
That's why after my youngest daughter Ambar was born, when she was just born I made her several garments, like the one I showed you a few days ago and my daughter Arianna also wanted me to make something for her.
Then I was making her a melon colored top type shirt, like this one I will show you, it is made of a soft fabric, but it is not cotton, I do not remember the name, I looked for the model of how to make it on YouTube, I made the patterns and sewed it by hand, with each stitch I was very excited to see how it would look, I made it all lined, because it was handmade, I did not want the seams to be seen, although the ones that were seen on the part of the straps, which are tied in the back looked very good.
With effort and dedication little by little I was cooking it until I could finish it and she looked spectacular, modesty aside, but it was beautiful, heh, heh, heh, heh. When she put it on, my neighbors, who are seamstresses, were delighted, just like when I made Ambar's, they said they didn't like to sew by hand and much less to be basteing before sewing by hand.
My WIP
However, to go with the top, I was making her these shorts, in white, of the same type of fabric, to match it, I did it with the same procedure as the top, I was already quite advanced as you can see.
I was about 3 cm away from finishing sewing the waistband, I put the elastic, still not closed, the pockets I had already hemmed, as they go on the outside as a decorative, I had it basted with a yellow thread, so that it protrudes from the white seam.
By the way, in the images I tried to take pictures so that you can see the hand stitching on the waistband. The truth is that it fits me very well, I am proud of it and I can tell you that I learned to do it this way, in fourth grade of elementary school, when my dear handicraft teacher taught me.
In general, all the garments that I have made I baste them to be more sure of sewing and that they fit me well, since hand sewing is much more complicated and you get more tired doing it than sewing by machine and it is a pity that it does not fit well.
I also had to sew the hem and close the leg, to have ready this cute shorts for my princess Arianna.
Why didn't I finish it? Well, I have an aunt who is a seamstress and has several damaged sewing machines and she saw that I was sewing by hand very well, but I was also suffering a lot of pain in my hands, I was getting cramps and my back was hurting a lot, I just wanted to create nice things for my girls, so I complained a little about the pain; however, I did not stop.
She told me that she would give me a machine, that she was going to have it fixed first, I bought some pieces that were missing and stopped sewing by hand, waiting for my machine. I was so excited that I bought several fabrics to make other garments for my girls.
However, these pants have been waiting for more than two years for the machine that my aunt had offered me. I simply left it for other things, with the illusion of having a machine.
Now I have taken it out of the bag where I have fabrics, felt, leather, ribbons, elastic and stop counting, of what I have been accumulating he, he, he, he. To make it MY WIP
When I read this challenge, this project came to my mind and I finally took it out of oblivion, soon I will be showing you how this outfit will look like to my beautiful Arianna, although I tell you it has grown a lot, if it fits it will be quite fair he, he, he, he, he, I will still finish it, it is very nice to keep waiting for me to finish it.
I hope soon to be bringing this WIP (work in progress) and show you how it looks with the model and everything. So I'm back to the yarns and needles again. Thanks to this community, that made me want to keep on creating in this art of sewing.

Bueno amiga, ya que tu eres una esperta en este arte, deberías activarse también. Ha ver si los das unas técnicas de costura en la máquina, que es lo que me hace falta jejeje.

Hola amiga :) Que paciencia, te admiro para coser a mano, se necesitan muchas ganas sin dudas. Que lindo que te quedó top, sí que quedaría muy bien con el short a juego. Espero que puedas terminarlo pronto, siento mucho que aún no hayas conseguido la máquina pero ya tus habilidades de costura a mano son buenísimas.
