La verdadera felicidad no siempre se mide en en nuestras propias victorias, sino en la capacidad de alegrarnos cuando alguien más alcanza las suyas.

Sonreír por los logros ajenos es señal de madurez emocional, demuestra que hemos aprendido a dejar detrás la comparación, la envidia y las malas vibras. Es un recordatorio de que la vida no es una competencia, sino un camino donde todos tenemos derecho de llegar a la meta.

Celebrar los triunfos de otros nos ayuda a alcanzar los propios. Tal vez la enseñanza sea esta: la alegría compartida es la forma más pura de crecer juntos.

Ayer estuve hablando con un amigo que fue mi compañero de clases desde que éramos pequeñitos. A decir verdad los últimos 2 años antes de entrar a la universidad fuimos muy cercanos y en verdad le tengo mucho cariño. Desde que tuvo novia me comentaba que sus planes eran casarse con ella, y justo ayer me envió todas las fotos de la boda.

Me encontré a mí misma sonriendole al teléfono mientras miraba aquellas fotos, se me llenó completamente el corazón de alegría porque al final logró lo que siempre quiso. En un futuro ese es mi sueño, pero al contrario de sentir envidia me sienta bien que él lo haya logrado y que ahora esté feliz con su matrimonio.
Mis felicitaciones y halagos no se hicieron esperar.

También en mi carrera de la universidad, con respecto a las evaluaciones, yo era muy buena a decir verdad, sin embargo en una asignatura de Literatura no siempre alcanzaba el máximo. Mi compañera de estudios y amiga @samantha, ella era (es) increíble con sus notas, me sentía siempre bien por ella, se lo merecía porque estudiaba bastante.
Jamás la podría mirar con envidia, al contrario, con admiración, nunca me negó su ayuda y siempre me inspiraba a enfocarme más.

La felicidad que se siente cuando vez a algún amigo o familiar lograr lo que se propuso, es de otro nivel. Fortalece nuestra capacidad de empatía y construye relaciones más sanas. La vida nos recompensa porque reconoce esa virtud: quien se alegra por los demás, atrae alegría para sí mismo.

Considero que en el fondo es hasta una lección de humildad, no todo lo bueno y valioso tiene que pasar por nuestras manos, sin embargo podemos ser buenos espectadores cuando les toque a quienes amamos.

De igual modo es increíble cuando nos acercamos para dar nuestras felicitaciones sinceras, mirar a los ojos a la otra persona y poder decirle "¡lo lograste!"
No es un formalismo, es un reconocimiento que valida el esfuerzo, es demostrale que su victoria no pasó desapercibida, que alguien más la celebra.

Que nunca se nos olvide, ser feliz de corazón por el objetivo cumplido de las personas que nos rodean, nunca sabemos del todo el esfuerzo detrás de la meta por pequeña que sea, así que lejos de sentir envidia, conectemos con la alegría del otro.

Yesterday I was talking to a friend who was my classmate since we were little kids. To tell the truth the last 2 years before entering the university we were very close and I really like him very much. Since he had a girlfriend he told me that his plans were to marry her, and just yesterday he sent me all the photos of the wedding.

I found myself smiling at him on the phone while looking at those photos, my heart was completely filled with joy because in the end he achieved what he always wanted. In the future that is my dream, but contrary to feeling envious it feels good that he has achieved it and that now he is happy with his marriage.
My congratulations and compliments were immediate.

Also in my university career, regarding the evaluations, I was very good to tell the truth, however in a Literature subject I did not always reach the maximum. My fellow student and friend @samantha, she was (is) amazing with her grades, I always felt good for her, she deserved it because she studied a lot.
I could never look at her with envy, on the contrary, with admiration, she never denied me her help and always inspired me to focus more.

The happiness you feel when you see a friend or family member achieve what they set out to do is on another level. It strengthens our capacity for empathy and builds healthier relationships. Life rewards us because it recognizes this virtue: whoever is happy for others, attracts joy for himself.

I think that deep down it is even a lesson in humility, not everything good and valuable has to pass through our hands, however we can be good spectators when it comes to those we love.

In the same way, it is amazing when we come up to give our sincere congratulations, look into the eyes of the other person and be able to say "you did it!"
