Hello hive community, its a beautiful Thursday here and the sun is up already, I hope you have an amazing one. I'm sharing a new painting with you all today and I love the title, it was inspired by a discussion I listened to last weekend.

How often do you stop and look? Observing your surroundings and the beauty of this world, the warmth of the sun, how bright the stars are, how full the moon is...

Life's most meaningful moments often pass us by when we forget to stop and look.

Do you turn off the never-ending thoughts in your head and just bask in the moment and appreciate how far you've come?

Stop, look at the path you've walked, and be grateful for the journey that has shaped you.

PROCESS

I started this one with a sketch before painting base colours for her skin and hair, I really like her pose and the look in her eyes, she's really looking. I then painted her facial features and added details to them as I painted.

I started to render her skin and it looked really good, I've always loved ginger as a hair colour but I don't think I've ever painted it. I began to paint more colours and strands to her hair before painting the bubbles..
