The last time we were here was December 2019. It was one of those unplanned plans to the beach that ended spending the night there. Without anywhere or anything else to do, we visited the capitol located at the next town where we spent the night.

We were looking forward to visiting next year but then COVID-19 happened.

This year, it was yet again an abrupt decision to go to the beach but no overnight this time but we didn't miss the chance of visiting the capitol to see and wonder and be delighted by the lights.

This is my entry for today's #WednesdayWalk by @tattoodjay and #MakeMeSmile by @elizacheng.

This time, they closed the road to vehicles further down. We had to park at the hospital for there was not enough parking space at the square.

Lots of lights and lanterns line the road and light up the trees. The welcome arch was enough to set you in the mood. It's so festive! Everybody's mood is so good you can feel it.

The last time we were here, it was the tunnel of lights that was the highlight of the Christmas village. However, it was not as attractive this year.

I believe it is this wall of lanterns that is the main attraction this time. They are like mandalas - colorful and bright.

Last time, there were lots of Christmas trees and huge ones too but this year, this is just this one tree, not as decorative like the previous ones.
