I consider myself someone who appreciates and values art and animation a lot when it comes to consuming a movie or a series. I would say it's not the most important thing, but it is something I pay attention to.
Me considero alguien que aprecia y valora mucho el arte y la animación a la hora de consumir una película o una serie. Diría que no es lo más importante, pero si es algo a lo que le presto atención.
This time I would like to talk about the films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which for me are the best films in terms of animation.
En esta oportunidad quisiera hablar de las películas Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse y Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, que para mí son las mejores películas en cuanto a animación
I think both films have such an artistic quality that we can pause it at any time and we manage to get a very good background. It kind of gives the feeling that every last stroke was carefully planned to deliver a perfect job. That's why we wait so long between films. To get to that extreme level of quality takes a long time. So we will have to wait 1 or 2 more years to see the last installment of this saga.
Creo que ambas películas tienen tal calidad artística que podemos pausarla en cualquier momento y logramos sacar un fondo de pantalla muy bueno. Como que da la sensación de que hasta el último trazo fue planeado cuidadosamente para entregar un trabajo perfecto. Por esta razón es que esperamos tanto tiempo entre una película y otra. Llegar a ese nivel tan extremo de calidad lleva mucho tiempo. Así qué tendremos que esperar 1 o 2 años más para poder ver la última entrega de esta saga.

I say this because within the movie there are several different artistic styles, each universe has its own art style. When we are in Gwen's universe, we can see soft colors and a watercolor style. The same happens when we are shown Spider-pink's, Spider India's, etc. That each one has its own very marked style and that makes the difference very marked between different characters.
Lo mejor es que no tiene una gran calidad artística, tiene grandes cualidades artísticas. Digo esto porque dentro de la película conviven varios y distintos estilos artísticos, cada universo tiene su propio estilo de arte. Cuando estamos en el universo de Gwen, podemos ver colores suaves y un estilo acuarela. Lo mismo pasa cuando se los muestra el de Spider-pink, Spider India, etc. Que cada uno tiene su propio estilo muy marcado y eso hace que la diferencia sea muy marcada entre distintos personajes.
To give you an idea of how amazing this movie is, Spider-Punk was animated in a special way. They literally drew it part by part and put it together. It took so much complexity that a single frame represented many hours of work. And I don't even want to imagine what it will cost if in the third movie they travel to his universe. I wouldn't want to be the artists in charge of that task.
Para que se den idea de lo increíble que es esta película, Spider-Punk fue animado de una manera especial. Literalmente, lo dibujaron parte por parte y lo unieron. Llevo tanta complejidad que un solo frame representaba muchas horas de trabajo. Y ni me quiero imaginar lo que costará si en la tercera película viajan a su universo. No quisiera ser los artistas encargados de esa tarea.
One scene I want to highlight is when Miles Morales and Peter. B Parker swing through the trees in the first movie. There is one detail that is a bit unnoticeable at first glance. Miles is animated at 12 FPS and Peter at 24 FPS. What it represents is that one is someone experienced who has lived a lot and someone who 2 minutes ago got spider powers. For many this will be a meaningless detail, but I love it.
Una escena que quiera destacar es cuando Miles Morales y Peter. B Parker se balancean entre los árboles en la primera película. Hay un detalle que es un poco imperceptible a primera vista. Miles está animado a 12 FPS Y Peter a 24 FPS. Lo que representa es que uno es alguien experimentado que ha vivido mucho y alguien que hace 2 minutos obtuvo los poderes de araña. Para muchos esto será un detalle sin sentido, pero a mí me encanta.
I think the art in this movie was so good that at times it was hard for me to pay attention to the plot, because I was appreciating some of the paintings. This happened to me in the scene where Mancha traveled between universes and fell into one where his style was typical of old comics from the 50s.
Creo que el arte de esta película fue tan bueno que por momentos me costaba prestarle atención a la trama, por estar apreciando algunos cuadros. Esto me pasó en la escena donde Mancha viajaba entre universos y cae en uno donde su estilo era típico de los cómics antiguos, de los años 50.
If you ask me, I would definitely say that these films as a whole are the best in terms of art and animation. And I doubt we'll see anything that manages to surpass them in the short to medium term.
It doesn't have much to do with this blog, but as far as animated series go, I'd say Arcane is the best.
Si me preguntan a mí, Sin dudas diría que estas películas en conjunto son las mejores en cuanto a arte y animación. Y dudo que podamos ver algo que logre superarlas en el corto o mediano plazo.
No tiene mucho que ver con este blog, pero en cuanto a series animadas, diría que Arcane es la mejor.

Una mezcla tan variada de estilos suena interesante. Y he leído otras críticas que son favorables al manejo del personaje protagonista, así como a la historia en general.

I once started watching the first movie but for some reason didn't finish it even though the animation was excellent. I really do want to give it and the 2nd one another go as I only hear good things about them.
I don't understand how you couldn't finish the movie, it's too good to leave it half done jaja

hahaha it made me laugh about Arcane and yes, very good series in terms of plot to mix so many things with good coherence, it has its details but in general line all the chaos managed to raise it and convey it very well not to mention the empathy that is born from us as viewers to the characters. Animations allow you to do impressive things. This reminds me of DC's animated movies, the Red Son movie or The Killing Joker come to mind. They are great animated movies that have nothing to do with DC's live action movies.
The same thing happens to me with these two movies you mention. If the Marvel live action movies had had the essence and love for the character that these two have, puff I think they would have been a work of art. The scenes in the first one of Miles and Prowler come to mind.... The music they played in that scene.... Brutal... And so many other things you highlight.
What happens with Marvel in general is that they prioritize quantity over quality. Now I don't know, but until a few years ago, they released movies very often. That means you can't devote much time to improving the technical aspects.
