I'm going to be honest with you. This anime is made for people who enjoy mindless violence and an uncomplicated plot. If I had to sum up this series in one sentence, it would be, a bunch of super muscular men fighting for honor and pride. The end.


Voy a ser honestos con ustedes. Este anime está hecho para las personas que disfrutamos de violencia sin sentido y una trama poco complicada. Si tuviera que resumir esta serie en una oración, sería, un montón de hombres súper musculosos peleando por honor y orgullo. Fin.

I warn you that this series often lacks logic and sense. We can see men hitting the sound barrier, men falling from a building without getting a scratch, men being hit by meteorites without injuries, men receiving lightning without flinching, etc. It would be one to watch without thinking too much. Just enjoy.

Les advierto que esta serie muchas veces carece de lógica y sentido. Podemos ver hombres dando golpes que rompen la barrera del sonido, hombres cayendo de un edificio sin recibir rasguño, hombres siendo golpeados por meteoritos sin lesiones, Hombres recibiendo rayos sin inmutarse, etc. Es una sería para ver sin pensar demasiado. Baki is an anime based on a manga of the same name and as I said before, its plot is simple. It is about a young man named Baki Hanma who aims to be stronger than his father (Yujiro Hanma). Which will not be easy because his father is called the strongest man in the world. Someone who is feared and respected by armies and entire nations.

Baki es una animé basado en un manga de su mismo nombre y como dije anteriormente, su trama es simple. Trata de un joven llamado Baki Hanma que tiene como objetivo, ser más fuerte que su padre (Yujiro Hanma). Cosa que no será sencilla porque su padre es denominado como el hombre más fuerte del mundo. Alguien que es temido y respetado por ejércitos y naciones enteras.

Baki from birth was raised to be a worthy opponent of his father. Yujiro is so strong that he had no rival. So he decided to create one. It's a bit surreal, but Baki was conceived solely so that his father would have a worthy opponent.

Baki dedicated his entire life to becoming stronger and improving himself. Exposing himself to very hard and dangerous training. All with the goal of one day defeating his father. You could say that this is the main goal of the series, but in the meantime, several subplots occur.

CHARACTERS


Obviously, there are many more characters than Baki and Yujiro. We have Retsu Kaioh, a master specializing in Chinese martial arts. He was introduced as an opponent of Baki in a tournament.

PERSONAJES


Obviamente, hay muchos más personajes que Baki Y Yujiro. Tenemos a Retsu Kaioh, un maestro especializado en las artes marciales chinas. Fue presentado como un oponente de Baki en un torneo.

Doppo Orochi, A karate master 10th dan. He has been practicing martial arts for 50 years and is a friend of Yujiro.

Biscuit Oliva, better known as Mr. Unchained. He is the strongest man in the U.S. He is a mercenary hired to catch hard-to-catch criminals. At the same time, he is a close associate of Yujiro.

Kaoru Hanayama, recognized for being the strongest Yakuza in Japan. A recurring character with a strict code of honor.

As I mentioned earlier, there are several subplots as our father-son encounter unfolds. One season deals with prisoners escaping from maximum security prisons with a yearning to know defeat (I know it doesn't make sense, but don't overthink it).

Como mencioné anteriormente, hay varias tramas secundarias mientras se desarrolla nuestro encuentro entre padre e hijo. Una temporada trata sobre prisioneros que escapan de cárceles de máxima seguridad con el anhelo de conocer la derrota (yo sé que no tiene sentido, pero no lo piensen demasiado).

Then we have a season dedicated to an unfrozen man from the dinosaur era (I know, it doesn't make sense xd). And our protagonists want to prove how strong he is.

Luego tenemos una temporada dedicada a un hombre descongelado de la época de los dinosaurios (lo sé, no tiene sentido xd). Y nuestros protagonistas quieren probar que tan fuerte es.

In short, this is not a masterpiece, far from it. It's not a bad series, but it has plot shortcomings. It is to enjoy in those moments where we don't want to think too much to understand a complicated plot.

En resumen, esta no es una obra maestra, ni mucho menos. No es una mala serie, pero tiene carencias argumentales. Es para disfrutar en esos momentos donde no queremos pensar demasiado para entender una trama complicada.

No he podido verla o mejor dicho no he querido. Pienso que Kengan Ashura es mucho mejor, incluso los combates son mas detallados. No se si la has visto, pero si no lo has hecho deberias darle un vistazo.

No sos la primera persona que me dice que Kengan Ashura es mejor que Baki. Le voy a dar una oportunidad.
Otro anime que es muy bueno de este estilo, es Ippo Makunouchi. No se si lo conoces, pero es muy bueno. Te lo recomiendo. En un futuro, seguro haga reseña.

He visto todo lo que han animado y estoy al día con el manga, solo me faltan como los últimos 3 número actuales por leer. Muy buena honestamente. Sería bueno leer tu reseña, yo hace casi un año hice una de esa serie. Acá te la dejo para que le des un vistazo.
