SEARCHING FOR DREAMS /BUSCANDO LOS SUEÑOS / (ENG)(ESP)

If we all worked in what we really like, the happiness in our hearts would be incalculable, unfortunately the system established in our society, forces us to focus so much on seeking daily sustenance that we forget our dreams or life goals.

The youth start their families without having planned it, generally they must leave their studies; although I emphasize that a low percentage fight against adversity, continue studying and working, I admire the women for this, against all odds they remain constant, even though they must take care of their homes and children.

Si todos trabajáramos en lo que realmente nos gusta, la felicidad en nuestro corazón fuera incalculable, lamentablemente el sistema establecido en nuestra sociedad, nos obliga a enfocarnos tanto en buscar el sustento diario que olvidamos nuestros sueños o metas de vida.

La juventud comienza sus familias sin haberlo planificado, por lo general deben dejar estudios; Aunque destaco que un bajo porcentaje lucha contra las adversidades, continua estudiando y trabajando, admiro mucho a las mujeres por ello, contra viento y marea se mantienen constantes, a pesar que deben atender hogar e hijos.

A few days ago I went to the Municipal Theater where I live, I was invited by one of the participants to a singing contest, called The Voice of Guacara 2021, we were waiting about two hours to enter, since the power was out, after the show we were two hours waiting outside, to catch a cab, in total it was six hours that I lasted in this environment.

Aunado a todo esto, la inflación desbordada desmotiva a cualquiera que desee formarse en alguna carrera, lo que se gana simplemente no alcanza, por lo que hemos debido reinventarnos con los trabajos, he visto abogados, profesores, ingenieros, enfermeros, etc. Manejando taxi o atendiendo una bodega en sus casas, la amargura existencial se les nota con tan solo tratarlos.

Hace unos días fui al teatro Municipal de donde vivo, fui invitado por una de las participantes a un concurso de canto, llamado La voz de Guacara 2021, estuvimos esperando cerca de dos horas para entrar, ya que se había ido la luz, luego del espectáculo estuvimos dos horas esperando fuera, para agarrar un taxi, en total fueron seis horas las que dure en este entorno.

En mi vida he aprendido que tú decides si ver el lado malo de las cosas, (La tediosa espera de entrada al espectáculo y de retorno al hogar) o el lado bueno, (Disfrutar de una juventud que no se deja vencer por las adversidades) La mayoría proviene de barrios, pero tienen una calidad en su talento que es digno de ser valorado.

In all that time away from the theater, I heard many stories, of how they dressed, how they struggled to get around, of the hunger they endured between each class, each rehearsal and each performance.

I wished them the best for their future and congratulated their teachers, because they introduced me to a world that I didn't know in my environment, I was very happy because not all young people are surrendered to mediocrity, there are still dreamers who are focused on what they want to be.

En todo ese tiempo fuera del teatro, escuche muchas historias, de como hacían para vestirse, de cómo luchaban para transportarse, del hambre que aguantaban entre cada clase, cada ensayo y cada presentación.

Pero ¡todos! en línea general decían que no se rendían porque estaban luchando por sus sueños, les desee lo mejor para su futuro y felicite a sus profesores, porque me hicieron conocer un mundo que desconocía de mi entorno, me alegre mucho ya que no toda la juventud esta rendida ante la mediocridad, todavía existen soñadores que están enfocados en lo que quieren ser.

All this experience has motivated me to continue my dream of writing, I aspire in the future to see my books in physical form, supported by a publishing house, I have already started in Hive to show only a small part of my work, this is the most difficult thing.

Habían 18 aspirantes de edades comprendidas entre 15 y 28 años, escuchar de muchos que era la segunda vez que se montaban en una tarima me sorprendió, ya que lo hacían tan bien que parecían profesionales, incluso había una embarazada, seguir su evolución me ha interesado, cada uno tiene algo que contar.

Toda esta experiencia me ha motivado a continuar mi sueño de escribir, aspiro en un futuro ver mis libros en físico, apoyados por una editorial, ya he comenzado en Hive a mostrar solo una pequeña parte de mi trabajo, así se da a conocer esto es lo más difícil.

Perseverance will give me achievements, therefore I make a call to everyone who can read this, "Never give up in the struggle to reach your goal" No matter the age, social status, your sex, your religious or political beliefs, we must always be focused and prepared for when the opportunity comes.

La constancia me dará logros, por todo ello hago un llamado a todo el que pueda leer esto, “Nunca se rindan en la lucha por llegar a su meta” No importa la edad, la condición social, tu sexo, tu creencia religiosa o política, siempre debemos estar enfocados y preparados para cuando llegue la oportunidad.
