Persimmons Using Oil Pastels

Hello, how are you? The first time I ate persimmons when I am in high school time, when I am still watching kdrama I saw them ate it like it taste like the most delicious fruit they ever taste which made me curious me and my cousin use to go to market after school and we saw one vendor selling perssiommon so we bought some and it taste desame as chico and the one we bought is super ripe which is weird. So when my mom bought some months ago, I tried it again, and it tasted different from what we bought before LOL. The one my mom bought tastes good.
So today I am going to draw persimmons again because I just love drawing fruits that are orange.
Materials I Used:
- Oil Pastels
- Paper
- Scratching Tool
- Tape
Draw Time!

I tape the paper I am going to use to a chipboard to make my drawing process easy, and then I draw the persimmons using dark blue.

I decided to add one more persimmon to balance the space of the paper, and I felt relieved that I did that LOL. With LIGHT pressure, I added the base color of the persimmons. It looks weird at start but it will get better as the process goes on.

I fill everything with their respective color to the darkest to lightest color.

Because I have a limited palette of pastels, I do the complementary color to darken the shadow part without ruining the color.

I filled the background with blue shades of color, and then to make it more dimensional, I added black as a shadow to the part that is completely dark.

Using my palette knife, I added texture to the drawing. I think this one is better than the clay tool I usually use LOL.

I hope you like it :D
