I Draw Tulips Using Oil Pastels. Starting To Get Use To The Oil Pastels Just Trust The Process

23.JPG

Hello, how are you? Last time I drew with oil pastels, I've been kinda of confused how it worked, but this time I have a little bit of control over it, and I decided to draw the line art with pencil, which I rarely use, but I guess it turns out better than when I used to just draw the line art with oil pastel. What I observe is that the drawing turns muddy when I draw the line art with oil pastels. I sometimes doubt myself if I can draw the reference this time, but sometimes ugly phases do exist when drawing, so just trust the process this time.

And I was so scared that I might not blend the tulips, but it turned out great to my surprise, so I always trust the process LOL, and one thing that I needed to improve is blending the bag that was used as a vase for it. I chose this reference because it is cool and unique.

Materials I Used:

  • Pencil
  • Eraser
  • Tape
  • 200 GSM Paper
  • Oil Pastels
  • Tissue
  • Scratching Tool

So nice artwork! From time to time I use oil pastels for my paintings. ❤️
