Digital Drawing #8 I Named Her Emoji

Hello! I'm back again with new art! How are you? Hope you're fine.

ArtPark has set us the work of creating art with only three emojis. This is the set of challenges that I enjoy the most. It will allow you to wring your brain for ideas and be unique and strange at times. I used to finish my entries quickly, but now I'm a little slower. I'm late for the challenge it was supposed to post last Saturday but our kind moderator is so considerate that we don't have to pressure ourselves on posting on deadline.

Drawing the whole body is kind of a nono for me. I'm still working on my carving techniques. I guess I did pretty well this time. I'm looking for techniques that will be comfortable for me to do so.

It takes me a few sketches until I'm satisfied with it. So the three emojis that needed to be created are yoga pose, mushroom, and cupcake.

Because my screen is small and my phone can't handle a greater canvas size, I created the head separately. Somehow, I made it through. Hehehe. I'm still manifesting the universe as a more suitable medium for my work.

Speaking about manifesting, I sold my very first NFT last week, and we were only sold out for a few days before they contacted us again. That excites me deeply. We were manifesting that final week, and then all of a sudden, we were invited back for the following batch!

So before I disappear and be busier again. I wanna share this art I created.

Let us begin with her. I changed her hair color and style a few times, starting with long hair with green hair, which I didn't like, then a wolf cut that didn't suit her, and finally ending up with short hair and blonde hair, which I love!

I was supposed to wrap vines around her body to make it look like she was connected with nature for the body. However, I was unable to complete the task. LOL
Finally, there's the mushroom, which I used as a background as well as the one she's sitting on. I also added to her body as if she were growing out of it. I like how the mushrooms turned out.

I kept the cupcakes basic, and the icing looks like poopy hihihi, but it's cute.
I gave her a water effect as if she were a water bender from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Because there's a waterfall in the background, that makes sense, right?

For the final leaves that fall, I love this. I was browsing through the brushes and I saw this leaf brush in it, so I used it. It looks great. What I did is I turned the layer blending mode into add and chose the light yellow color. What it does is it will make you layer highlights.
