100 Head Challenge In Graphite Portrait I Nearly Lost My Mind

Hello, how are you? So I started a 100-head challenge a few days ago, and I wonder if I am going to use only one medium, and I don’t think I can do that. Imagine the fatigue of only using one medium in a head challenge is hard, so I decided to use mediums that I have, and I have a lot of them, so I am going to enjoy this challenge so much.
Yesterday I continued to draw again, and I came to my mind that I am going to use graphite pencil and charcoal this time, and I thought this was going to be easy, but I like the thrill of it. My desk is a mess after, but worth it. I am planning on using a specific sketchbook for it, but nah! I’ll just do whatever I am going to use, LOL.
Materials I Used:
Materials I Used:
- Paper
- Graphite Pencils
- Brush
- Eraser
- Charcoal Powder
- Charcoal Pencil
Let's Draw!
4th Head:

I just realized that I forgot to take a photo of the line art LOL. But I am going to draw T.O.P, one of my favorites in Big Bang. He recently had his solo comeback as a soloist, which is sad because I will never see him again with his group. So doing this is so meaningful to me. Now I realize I should have just drawn the four of them, but it is too late because the paper I used is too small, and only two heads fit.

The graphite pencil doesn’t do justice to the value, so I am going to use charcoal to darken the value. It looks better when I added a darker value to it, and it will look better again when I add more darker value to it later.

I wanted to darken the inner clothes of him so that it will look like they have a dimension to them. I like the inner part more dark. I will be back again to fix some part of it.
5th Head:

To be honest, I said before that I don't mind if the portrait I am going to draw is not realistic, but when it comes to drawing G Dragon, it took me a lot of time to draw the line art, and I am this close to losing it, but something miracle happen, and then I kinda made it right? LOL.

I started by rendering his left side first because I am making sure that the proportion is right before I commit to it.

When I am confident enough, I will render everything to his face. I do it layer by layer so that I can build up everything evenly.

My focus is the head and the head only, and then I just stare at the portrait and fix some behind-the-scenes, and I decided to add a background to make it look more interesting and well-blended.

Took a photo of the materials I used along with the drawing.

I hope you like it! See you at my next 100-head challenge.
