POLO DE ENSUEÑOS -POLO MARGARITEÑO- By @leandroeltenor
This important originality of Venezuelan folklore is El Polo Margariteño. With such a joyful music and such a peculiar dance son. The Colombian writer Wilson Suescún described Margarita Island in a single song titled Polo de Ensueños, with the traditional music of the Margarita Polo, created by Francisco Mata, a native of the Island and with all the knowledge about its customs and culture. Suescún with his great muse made this song describing the island with all its beauty, landscapes, traditions, beaches, flora and fauna, the sea and its fish, its culture. I liked the way she used metaphors as descriptive and beautiful as the verse "is a jewel embedded in green sea" truly is and in this beautiful song says it all. I felt very proud to interpret it and grateful to Suescún for giving me the opportunity to record a song like this alluding to my country Venezuela.

Esta importante originalidad del folklor venezolano como lo es El Polo Margariteño. Con una música tan alegre y un son de baile tan peculiar. El escritor colombiano Wilson Suescún describió la Isla de Margarita en una sola canción titulada Polo de Ensueños, con la música tradicional del polo margariteño, creada por Francisco Mata, oriundo de la Isla y con todos los conocimientos sobre sus costumbres y cultura. Suescún con su gran musa hizo esa canción describiendo la isla con toda su belleza, paisajes, tradiciones, playas, flora y fauna, el mar y sus peces, su cultura. Me gustó sobre manera al usar metáforas tan descriptivas y bellas como lo es el verso "es una joya incrustada en verde mar" verdaderamente lo es y en esta bella canción lo dice todo. Muy orgulloso me sentí al interpretarla y agradecido a Suescún por darme la oportunidad de grabarle un tema como éste alusivo a mi país Venezuela.
