The War of Attrition.

I ventured into the Prime Candidate Program area within Logistics, encountering heavy Hiss forces. After falling in an initial ambush against floating blasters, I returned with a distant strategy, destroyed the hidden Hiss Cluster healing source, and wore down a heavily shielded elite target to clear the zone.

I reached the Prime Candidate Program area in search of answers, navigating through the lingering shadow of the ex-director. Unsure of what lay ahead, I cautiously moved forward, bracing myself for whatever hostile forces were hiding in the dim light of the facility.

Without warning, a group of Hiss enemies spawned and aggressively rushed my position. I immediately opened fire and initiated my attacks, trying to establish dominance early in the fight. However, the incoming volume of enemy fire was overwhelming.

Realizing I could not sustain that level of damage in close quarters, I made the split-second decision to fall back, retreating to buy time and plan my tactical approach.

I paused behind structural cover to check my active loadout, seeking a better way to tackle the ambush. Because my character could not passively regenerate health without collecting crystals dropped by defeated enemies, staying out of combat forever was not an option.

Unfortunately, the floating blasters caught me off guard again with another explosive hit. My health dropped dangerously low, and before I could dodge out of harm’s way, the incoming damage overwhelmed me completely, ending my first attempt.

Respawning back near Logistics, which was thankfully not too far from the engagement zone, I decided to head straight back toward the fight. I ignored minor distractions along the corridor and kept my eyes fixed on the objective.

Upon returning, I noticed additional Hiss entities had reinforced the zone, turning a previously cleared hallway into a secondary kill zone. Learning from my previous mistake, I refused to let them trap me in tight quarters again.

I decided to maintain a strict physical distance. While staying back, I spotted a massive, heavily armored elite Hiss entity on the far side of a protective net barrier. It was unleashing massive damage, which explained why my health had dropped so rapidly in the previous fight.

Furthermore, every time I managed to land a few hits on it, its health pool instantly began to regenerate. I quickly recognized that a Hiss Cluster was hidden nearby, actively healing the elite enemy.

I broke away from my defensive position and aggressively pushed forward to locate the cluster. After searching the immediate area while dodging heavy projectiles, I located the glowing Hiss Cluster nestled around.

I prioritized it immediately, destroying the cluster to permanently cut off the elite target's continuous healing source. With the healing link broken, I retreated behind a cover to use it as a shield while my energy recovered.

I was focused on taking down that elite hiss entity, knowing this was the last one of them remaining. But additional minor Hiss entities spawned in to reinforce the elite unit and overpowered me without giving me a chance to regenrate health.

That Hiss Cluster was the real problem. Once you figured out it was constantly healing the elite enemy, destroying it first was the right strategy.

I liked how you changed your strategy instead of charging back in the same way. Fighting from a distance looked much more effective.

Is this the first or second title? I'm a little confused by the outfit she's wearing. I played the first CONTROL until I got bored; I feel like the game gets stuck in a monotonous and rather boring mechanic. It falls short in its attempts to be some kind of thriller, but in my opinion, it didn't work. Nice photos!

Its the first one. The second is not released yet. And I changed the outfit. Did you get to this moment? Unlocked levitate ability?

That elite Hiss sounds like bad news. Heavy armor, huge damage power, and continuous healing ability, all in one Cluster. At least you managed to destroy its healing source.

It was bad news. I had a tough time taking him down.
