The battle concluded in the lagoon of the martyrs on August 8, 1817. It is known as the red lagoon due to the number of deaths that were registered.

these events are narrated by the Spanish group El Jardín de María in their song La bahia de Juan Griego

this great tourist place has the fortress of the galley where you can appreciate the view and a sunset on the horizon and you can also see the Lagoon of the martyrs and young people who tell you the famous history of this place with their unique accent.

How free children feel when they play without caring about anything, I was envious of being them, running after the ball, getting wet in the sea and watching the sun go down in the sea.
