Nice slippers to be at home (ENG/ESP)
Hello dear friends, artisans of this dear NeedleWorkMonday community, I hope you are well, I feel very excited to share with you my work today, for a long time I wanted to knit some slippers with yarn, I saw them on the internet and they seemed so cute, I had always wanted to make some until I decided to make them, after a whole process, I made some beautiful slippers knitted with yarn, to be comfortable and relaxed at home.
Although it seemed like a simple job, it was a total headache for me, but since I am persistent and challenge myself when I want to achieve something, I focus on not throwing in the towel, on attending.
I worked hard, I unknitted and knitted several times, my hands hurt, because every time I tried to form the slippers and they didn't come out, I took my time, rested, let hours pass and tried again, I didn't want to give up my desire to make my slippers, working on it part of the day and night of this weekend, for hours, it was a little frustrating every time I had to unknit, and even though I watched tutorials they didn't turn out well, so I figured it out to make my own model, measuring my foot every so often.
Everything was a surprise for my entire family, when I was finally able to complete my long-awaited and first T-shirt sneaker project.
The work material was made by me, with recycled fabrics, and I made the needle with a wooden paintbrush handle. I hope you like my post.

Hola queridos amigos, artesanos de esta querida comunidad NeedleWorkMonday espero que se encuentren bien, me siento muy emocionada al compartirles mi trabajo de hoy, hace tiempo quería tejer unas zapatillas con trapillo, las veía en internet y me parecían tan lindas, siempre había querido hacerme unas hasta que me propuse hacérmelas, después de todo un proceso, hice unas lindas zapatillas tejidas con trapillo, para estar cómodo y relajado en casa.
Aunque me parecía un trabajo sencillo, fue un total dolor de cabeza para mí, pero como soy persistente y me reto cuando quiero lograr algo, me enfoco en no tirar la toalla, en asistir.
Trabaje duro, varias veces destejí y tejí, mis manos me dolían, porque cada vez que intentaba formar las zapatillas y no me salían, me tomaba mi tiempo, descansaba, dejaba pasar horas y volvía a intentarlo, no quería abandonar mis ganas de lograr hacer mis zapatillas, trabajar en ello parte del día y de la noche de este fin de semana, durante horas, era un poco frustrante cada vez que tenía que destejer, y es que aunque veía tutoriales no me salían bien, así que me la ingenie para hacer mi propio modelo, midiendo mi pie cada cierto avance.
El material de trabajo fue elaborado por mi, con telas recicladas, y la aguja la hice con un mango de un pincel de madera.

I started by making a ribbon with 18 chain stitches, to begin making the template that would form the slippers.
Then I started knitting from the chain, several main double crochets, and for each chain stitch, I knitted a single crochet until the first round, making increases of 1 stitch for every 2 single crochets, in the second round I repeated the step, in the third round continue knitting single crochets until the middle of the template, from that point I raised 2 half stitches on each side, plus 9 double crochets with 3 increases at the tip of the template to lengthen it.
Comencé realizando una cinta con 18 puntos cadena, para comenzar a hacer la plantilla que formarían las pantuflas.
Después fui tejiendo desde la cadena, varios puntos bajos principales, y por cada punto de cadena, tejí un punto bajo hasta darle la primera vuelta, haciendo aumentos de 1 punto por cada 2 puntos bajos, en la segunda vuelta repetí el paso, en la tercera vuelta continúa tejiendo puntos bajos hasta la mitad de la plantilla, desde ese punto levanté 2 medios puntos por cada lado, más 9 puntos altos con 3 aumentos en la punta de la plantilla para alargarla.
When the template took a little more shape, I began to knit a strip of black cloth to match, I closed the weaving of that strip, to start with mint green cloth, with this I wove 2 stripes all around, with low stitches up to the middle of the template, then I went up with high stitches to give height and depth to my fabric.
Writing down each stitch to make the second shoe, during these steps I noticed that my shoe was getting too big, I tried it on and it was about a size 40 to my surprise, so I just sighed and unknitted, I had already unknitted 2 times before, just the insole, because previously the insole was very crooked, but with this new size and appearance, my tiredness and my patience, they almost managed to see me defeated, but I insisted, I didn't give up, on the night when I got rid of my activities for the day, I started again, I had new ideas and I was certain that everything could work.
Up to that point I noticed that everything was working, continue knitting, expanding the template a little more, completing the template, I knitted the edges to give shape, height and depth to the upper fabric that forms double crochets with increases of 2 and 3 double crochets.
The result was horrible, the shoe was huge, it looked like a size 40, my foot was flying there, he completely unknit the shoe again to start again.
Cuando la plantilla tomo un poco más de forma, comencé a tejer una franja de trapillo de color negro para combinar, cerré el tejido de esa franja, para comenzar con trapillo verde menta, con este tejí 2 franjas por todo el contorno, con puntos bajos hasta la mitad de la plantilla, luego subí con puntos altos para darle altura y profundidad a mi tejido.
Anotando cada puntada para hacer la segunda zapatilla, durante estos pasos note que mi zapatilla estaba quedando demasiado grande me la probé y era como de una talla 40 para mi sorpresa, así que solo suspire y destejí, ya había destejido 2 veces antes, solo la plantilla, debido a que anteriormente la plantilla quedaba muy torcida, pero con este nuevo tamaño y aspecto, mi cansancio y mi paciencia, casi lograron verme vencida, pero insistí, no desistí, en la noche cuando me desocupé de mis actividades del día, volvía a comenzar ya tenía nuevas ideas y tenía la certeza de que todo podría funcionar.
Hasta ese punto notaba que todo iba funcionando, continúa tejiendo, ampliando un poco más la plantilla, culminando la plantilla, tejí los bordes para darle forma, altura y profundidad al tejido superior que forma de puntos altos con aumentos de 2 y 3 puntos altos.
El resultado fue horrible, la zapatilla me quedó enorme, parecía de un número 40, mi pie quedo volando ahí, volvió a destejer totalmente la zapatilla para comenzar de nuevo.
I knitted a new chain, since the previous starting chain had open stitches, I undid them and knitted a new one with 13 stitches, my foot is small and as it widens with the rows, this one worked for me without a tutorial, I only reduced the stitches and that's how I managed to give shape and size to my knitting.
Tejí una nueva cadena, ya que la anterior cadena de inicio quedo con los puntos abiertos las deshice y tejí una nueva de con 13 puntos mi pie es pequeño y como se va ampliando con las vueltas esta si me resulto sin tutorial solo hice reducción de puntos y fue así como logre darle forma y talla a mi tejido.
They are not the perfect shoes, but finally, I saw that they fit my foot, and the comfort, everything fit very well, everything was beautiful to my eye, it was satisfactory, it left me with a new experience to continue knitting with my own ideas.
No son las zapatillas perfectas, pero por fin, vi que se adataba a mi pie, y la comodidad, todo encajo muy bien, todo quedo hermoso a mi vista, fue satisfactorio, me dejo una nueva experiencia para seguir tejiendo con mis propias ideas.
I finished with a decoration of roses, which I made with chain stitches, for the leaves I made daisy stitches, I tried them on, I showed them to my family and everyone at home was delighted, and surprised with how beautiful they look on the feet, they are super comfortable slippers and worth making.

Finalice con una decoración de rosas, que hice con puntos de cadena, para las hojas hice como puntos margaritas, me las probé, las exhibí a mi familia y todos en casa quedaron encantados, y sorprendidos con lo hermosas que lucen en los pies, son unas zapatillas super cómodas y que vale la pena hacerlas.
