I always like to please my daughter with whatever I can, because she deserves it for being a good daughter, very obedient and studious.
Last week for me was a week where I was not in good health and I had not been able to make her a frog keychain that she had ordered me days ago.
Thank God I was able to stabilize myself and catch up with the things I had overdue.
Yesterday afternoon my daughter reminded me when I could make her keychain, so I didn't think about it and we immediately went to get the necessary materials, which fortunately we were able to gather them all.
Siempre me gustra complacer a mi hija con lo que este a mi alcance ya que se lo merece por ser una buena hija, muy obendiente y estudiosa.
La semana pasada para mi fue una semana donde no me encontaraba bien de salud y no habia podido hacerle un llavero de ranita que ella me habia encargado dias atras.
Gracias a Dios ya logre estabilizarme y ponerme al dia con las cosas que tenia atrasadas.
Ayer por la tarde mi hija me recordó que cuando le podía hacer su llavero, así que no lo pensé y enseguida fuimos por los materiales necesarios que afortunadamente logramos reunirlos todos.
Empecé utilizando el pavilo de algodón blanco y una aguja de ganchillo nº. 1, tejí un anillo de 5 puntos, luego hice las lazadas con puntos bajos hasta completar el tamaño que quería para el centro del cuerpo de la rana.
Changing the color of the wick was always a challenge, I was left with a bad looking knot and a nasty jump point.
I set out to learn and I feel that I am doing well but this stitch had me anxious so I filled myself with patience and I went to look for tutorials that would teach me how to achieve this stitch and among so many tutorials I managed to understand and I put it into practice and I was totally delighted compared to how I was doing it.
It was very easy I just took 2 stitches as if I was doing the normal stitches, but this time I would take 2 stitches above the needle with a loop and I would pass them to a single stitch holding the thread of the previous color and the new color together to close the seam of the fabric and prevent it from unraveling so these wicks are well fixed and invisible, this technique of changing the color of the wick in the fabrics is much better than how I was doing it.
I didn't really know how to do it, I didn't have a technique, I'm still in the process of improving everything, but I'm happy with what I've managed to do so far, and with my biggest motivation by my side it will always be nice.
Cambiar el color del pabilo siempre era un reto, me quedaba un nudo con mal aspecto y un punto de salto desagradable.
me propuse aprender y siento que lo estoy haciendo bien pero este punto me tenia ansiosa asi que me llene de paciencia y me fui a buscar tutoriales que me enseñaran como lograr este punto y entre tantos tutoriales logre entender lo puse en practica quedando totalmente encantada a comparacion de como yo lo estaba haciendo.
Fue muy fácil solo tomé 2 puntos como si fuera hacer los puntos normales, pero esta vez tomaría 2 puntos siguientes por encima de aguja con una lazada y los pasaría a un solo punto sujetando el hilo del color anterior y el nuevo color juntos para cerrar la costura del tejido y evitar que se desate así quedan estos pabilos bien fijos e invisibles, esta tecnica de cambio de color de pabilo en los tejidos queda mucho mejor de como lo venia haciendo.
Realmente no sabía cómo hacerlo, no tenía una técnica, todavía estoy en proceso de mejorarlo todo, pero estoy contenta con lo que he conseguido hacer hasta ahora, y con mi mayor motivación a mi lado siempre será bonito.

I started making the eyes which are two rings of 5 stitches from the beginning plus the loops that give it that look of volume, here I didn't need any stuffing.
I finished with the eyes by threading a needle with green yarn and sewed both eyes 2 cm apart at the top of the body.
Empecé haciendo los ojos que son dos anillos de 5 puntos desde el principio más las lazadas que le dan ese aspecto de volumen, aquí no necesité relleno.
Terminé con los ojos enhebrando una aguja con hilo verde y cosí ambos ojos a 2 cm de distancia en la parte superior del cuerpo.
Then I sewed some black beads for the pupils and using the black thread I sewed two V stitches for the mouth.
I continued decorating the center of the body with silver sequins and with this decorative detail the frog for my daughter's keychain is ready, my daughter was very happy with the completion of her keychain and is motivated to learn how to make these amigurumis that she loves.

Luego cosí unas cuentas negras para las pupilas y con el hilo negro cosí dos puntadas en V para la boca.
Continué decorando el centro del cuerpo con lentejuelas plateadas y con este detalle decorativo ya está lista la ranita para el llavero de mi hija, mi hija quedó muy contenta con la terminación de su llavero y está motivada para aprender a hacer estos amigurumis que tanto le gustan.

ajaaaaa, sigue practicando que esta ranita te quedó muy bien. En vista de que siempre boto los llaveros, ya se quien me va a hacer una llavero de un insecto o una araña jajajaja, está excelente el llavero, estos son un buen detallito para obsequiar. Sin dudas, son más cositas que se van añadiendo a "Artesanías y postres la garotiña, te creamos algo mientras te endulzas la vida". Un abrazo grande!
