May everything that makes us happy last forever

Hello, dear Hive family. I hope you’re all well, that you had a lovely weekend, and that the next one will be even better. The great thing about weekends is that they allow us to relax and unwind after a hard week, whether it’s been spent working or studying. They’re also a chance to do something different or fun, to go out for a walk, discover new places and have wonderful experiences.

That’s exactly what I did last weekend with my husband. He surprised me and asked me out; he took me to a restaurant called ‘La Finca’. It’s a very large and lovely place. We went in the evening, so there were lots of coloured lights and a very pleasant atmosphere, as there’s plenty of nature there.

We ordered one of our favourite dishes – some pizzas – but they were the house speciality: as well as ham and cheese, they had olives and onions. To be honest, they were absolutely delicious. And to drink, we had some mate. It had been a long time since I’d enjoyed its flavour, and it’s still just as delicious as I remembered.

When we went to explore the place, which is very spacious, we saw there was a swimming pool and swings for the children, but what caught our attention most was a sign that read: ‘May everything that makes us happy last forever’. That made me think I would have loved that weekend to last forever; more than that, I hoped that moments as lovely as that would never be forgotten and would be renewed every day. Having places to share with the people we love is a wonderful thing, a blessing. We hope to return to that lovely place soon because we have such a brilliant time there. I hope you enjoyed the post.
