Uñitas Cortas por Obligación [ESP/ENG]
Los que me conocen o tienen tiempo leyéndome saben que yo soy mujer de uñas largas, a veces hasta exageradamente largas pero nunca me he sentido cómoda con las uñas cortas porque siento que pierdo esa esencia femenina que me caracteriza aparte de que, al tenerlas cortas, se me hace muy tentador volver a morderlas y eso las debilita muchísimo.
Dejé de comerme las uñas a los 15 años aproximadamente, desde esa entonces he llevado las uñas largas siempre y naturales hasta 2021 que por temas de salud, estas no crecían sanas y empecé a usar Press On Nails; desde Dicimbre del año pasado dejé las uñas falsas y empecé a cuidarme mis uñas, ha sido un trabajo complicado pero con resultados increíbles.
Those who know me or have been reading me for a long time know that I am a woman of long nails, sometimes even exaggeratedly long, but I have never felt comfortable with short nails because I feel that I lose that feminine essence that characterizes me, besides, having them short, it is very tempting to bite them again and that weakens them a lot.

Trato de siempre tener un largo moderado debido a que si las dejo crecer mucho puedo lastimar tanto a otros como a mí misma, este mes crecieron demasiado hermosas, estaba muy feliz de lo bien que se veían mis manos pero como siempre, la Ley de Murphy atacó; el sábado tengo un evento importante y necesitaba más que nunca que mis uñas estuvieran hermosas pero empezaron a partirse una tras otra al punto que me levantó la carne y tuve que cortarlas.
Admito que esto me entristeció mucho y llegué a considerar ponerme uñas postizas de nuevo pero no quería someterlas a ese daño de nuevo así que decidí quedarme con mis uñas cortas y pintarlas de una forma diferente como elegante. Si le preguntan a cualquier manicurista, lo más probable es que le digan que lo que más odian hacer son las uñas estilo Francesa, son complicadas y requieren mucha técnica aunque no lo parezca, sin embargo es el diseño que más se pide por lo elegantes que son.
I try to always have a moderate length because if I let them grow too long I can hurt others as well as myself, this month they grew too beautiful, I was very happy with how good my hands looked but as always, Murphy's Law attacked; on Saturday I have an important event and I needed more than ever my nails to be beautiful but they started to split one after another to the point that it lifted my flesh and I had to cut them.
I admit this made me very sad and I even considered putting fake nails back on but I didn't want to subject them to that damage again so I decided to keep my nails short and paint them in a different way as elegant. If you ask any manicurist, they will most likely tell you that what they hate doing the most are the French style nails, they are complicated and require a lot of technique although it may not seem like it, however it is the most requested design because of how elegant they are.
Nunca me había hecho este diseño pero como el evento que tengo es bastante elegante e importante, decidí aventurarme y debo decir que estoy muy orgullosa del resultado; fue complicado, sobre todo cuando trabajé con mi mano no dominante pero lo logré y quedó mejor de lo que esperaba.
Admito que odio mis uñas cortas pero con este estilo se ven bonitas, elegantes y delicadas así que mi disgusto ha bajado considerablemente aunque dudo que sea un estilo que utilice habitualmente o por elección.

I had never done this design but as the event I have is quite elegant and important, I decided to venture and I must say that I am very proud of the result; it was complicated, especially when I worked with my non-dominant hand but I did it and it looked better than I expected.
I admit I hate my short nails but with this style they look pretty, elegant and delicate so my dislike has gone down considerably although I doubt it's a style I use habitually or by choice.

I love your elegant nails! Just like you, I am not used to putting colors on my nails in the hand but I love pedicures. It is only when I have an event that I have manicures. Have a nice time sis!
Sin importar el estilo, tú siempre te ves bien mi Mosi, sé que las uñas cortas se te ven más empoderadas, pero bueno, poco a poco irán creciendo más fuertes, este flow me gusta mucho a pesar de todo y sé que no soy el único que piensa que te queda bonito jajaja.
