Mi Amor por las Manualidades [ESP/ENG]
Holii, hoy quiero hablarles de uno de mis hobbies favoritos pero que, a su vez, me ha costado demasiado desarrollar o perfeccionar y son las manualidades o regalitos hechos a manos
Desde que estoy en preescolar, me enseñaron a hacer muchas manualidades, desde muñequitos de plastilina hasta pintar con los dedos; esto me gusta muchísimo porque me parece súper relajante, sin embargo, nunca he sido muy diestra con mis manos debido a que no tengo buen pulso y tiendo a perder la precisión, haciendo que me frustre mucho porque, también, soy muy meticulosa y perfeccionista con mis cosas.
Hiii, today I want to talk to you about one of my favorite hobbies but that, at the same time, I have had a hard time developing or perfecting, and that is handmade crafts or handmade gifts.
Since I was in preschool, I was taught to make many crafts, from plasticine dolls to finger painting; I like this very much because I find it very relaxing, however, I have never been very skilled with my hands because I don't have a good pulse and I tend to lose precision, making me very frustrated because I am also very meticulous and perfectionist with my things.
Generalmente, en los preescolares te ponen a hacer manualidades es para desarrollarte las habilidades motoras y la paciencia, ya después, con los años, no te mandan a hacer tantas manualidades sino que las actividades son más lógicas.
Traté de conservar mi habilidad con estás actividades porque, la verdad, me gusta mucho; con la que empecé fue con la pintura, adoro pintar y llenarme todas las manos de pintura, prefiero hacerlo así que con pincel; luego, mi mamá me inscribió en un curso para hacer figuras de Masa Flexible, o también conocido como Porcelana Fría, y lo disfruté muchísimo, todavía se conservan muchas de las figuras que hice en esa época.
Generally, in preschool they make you do arts and crafts to develop your motor skills and patience, later on, as you get older, they don't send you to do so many arts and crafts but the activities are more logical.
I tried to keep my ability with these activities because, the truth is, I really like it; the one I started with was painting, I love painting and filling my hands with paint, I prefer to do it that way than with a brush; then, my mom enrolled me in a course to make figures of Flexible Dough, also known as Cold Porcelain, and I enjoyed it very much, I still have many of the figures I made at that time.
Con el tiempo, dejé de hacer tantas manualidades porque mis deberes me sobrepasaban pero traté de conservarlas en cierta parte con la escritura; mi letra cotidiana no es nada bonita, casi que es ilegible, pero cuando me esmero en escribir bonito o cuando tengo que hacer títulos y ese tipo de textos, quedan muy bonitos.
Mis compañeros de clases siempre me dejaban la tarea de hacer los títulos de los trabajos o las láminas de las exposiciones a mí, muchas veces me pedían el favor de hacerles las portadas a los cuadernos porque nos lo exigían.
With time, I stopped doing so many handicrafts because my homework overwhelmed me, but I tried to preserve them to some extent with writing; my daily handwriting is not pretty at all, it is almost illegible, but when I take care to write beautifully or when I have to make titles and that kind of texts, they are very nice.
My classmates always left the task of making the titles of the works or the plates of the exhibitions to me, many times they asked me the favor of making the covers of the notebooks because they demanded it of us.
Aunque nunca lo desarrollé como hubiese querido, otra cosa que amo es dibujar mas detesto colorear, no me pregunten pero siempre mis dibujos se quedaban a lápiz porque no me gustaba colorear.
Mis cuadernos estaban repletos de dibujitos que hacía durante las clases, mis profesores me regañaban porque pensaba que no estaba prestando atención pero era todo lo contrario, dibujar hacía que me concentrara netamente en la voz del profesor y no en las tonterías que estuviesen pasando a mi alrededor.
Although I never developed it as I would have liked, another thing I love is drawing but I hate coloring, don't ask me but my drawings were always in pencil because I didn't like coloring.
My notebooks were full of little drawings that I made during the classes, my teachers scolded me because I thought I wasn't paying attention but it was the opposite, drawing made me concentrate on the teacher's voice and not on the nonsense that was going on around me.
He hecho varios cursos de artes plásticas y eso ha hecho que me enamorara más de este arte, es gracioso porque mi mejor amiga siempre me preguntó que por qué no elegí esta carrera en vez de audiovisuales y es que realmente yo me hallo mucho más en el cine y la fotografía que en las esculturas y pinturas; pero no signifique que me apasionen. De hecho, considero que todas las artes me apasionan, la música, la escritura, la danza, el teatro, etc; solo que mi vocación está en el audiovisual.
Esta pasión por las artes plásticas está muy presente a la hora de hacer regalos, prefiero hacer el regalo yo que irlo a comprar; a mi mejor amiga le he regalado infinidades de cartas, noticas, dibujos, origamis, entre otras muchas cosas que ella aún conserva; al igual que mis padres o a mi hermana, siempre hago manualidades para recordarles mi aprecio.
I have taken several courses in plastic arts and that has made me fall more in love with this art, it's funny because my best friend always asked me why I didn't choose this career instead of audiovisuals and is that I really find myself much more in film and photography than in sculptures and paintings; but it doesn't mean that I am passionate about them. In fact, I consider that I am passionate about all the arts, music, writing, dance, theater, etc; only that my vocation is in the audiovisual.
This passion for the plastic arts is very present when it comes to making gifts, I prefer to make the gift myself than to buy it; I have given my best friend an infinite number of letters, news, drawings, origami, among many other things that she still keeps; as well as my parents or my sister, I always make crafts to remind them of my appreciation.
Esto se ve mucho más intensificado con mis parejas, generalmente son regalos para momentos especiales como sus cumpleaños o los cumple mes; pero, de vez en cuando, hago noticas o dibujitos de manera esporádica, solo porque me nació en el momento.
Creo que el mejor ejemplo y la persona que más puede corroborar esto es mi actual pareja @ilazramusic, desde antes de ser pareja ya yo le había regalado cosas como un cuaderno que hice desde cero porque sabía lo mucho que necesitaba uno para anotar sus recordatorios.
This is much more intensified with my partners, they are usually gifts for special moments like their birthdays or birthdays month; but, from time to time, I make news or drawings sporadically, just because I was born in the moment.
I think the best example and the person who can corroborate this is my current partner @ilazramusic, since before we were a couple I had already given him things like a notebook that I made from scratch because I knew how much he needed one to write down his reminders.
Después le decoré una billetera que le compré, porque la de él estaba que se desarmaba sola y quería que esta fuera especial, que siempre que la viera me recordara; la decoré con su nombre artístico, con un sol y una luna porque siempre nos decíamos que él era mi sol y yo su luna, por la parte de atrás puse el título de una canción que, básicamente, fue la que inició toda nuestra historia juntos "Si hay Algo".
Durante los casi cuatro meses que estuvimos juntos, le regalé varias noticas o carticas para recordarle el aprecio y cariño que le tenía; desde que regresamos, cada 21 le doy una cartica que anuncia un capítulo nuevo de esta segunda temporada juntos y, generalmente, va acompañada de un regalo adicional.
Then I decorated a wallet that I bought him, because his wallet was falling apart by itself and I wanted this one to be special, so that whenever he saw it he would remember me; I decorated it with his artistic name, with a sun and a moon because we always said that he was my sun and I was his moon, on the back I put the title of a song that basically was the one that started our whole story together "Si hay Algo".

Como su refresco favorito es la Pepsi, me di a la tarea de buscar algún bolso que tuviera ese logo, no conseguí el bolso pero si una cartuchera, o lapicera, que tenía el logo grande de Pepsi y es de color azul, nuestro color favorito; luego me senté a recortar 28 papelitos y escribir un mensaje especial en cada uno de ellos, fueron 28 porque es un papelito por año de vida cumplido y le hice la promesa que, pasara lo que pasara en el futuro, cada año le daría una notica más para que agregara a esa cartuchera que bautice como "El Museo del Amor". Aparte de las carticas, recorté varios corazones de cartulina, de diferente forma y tamaño, también agregué confeti porque estábamos celebrando y no hay celebración sin confeti.

Soy una persona muy detallista y muy sentimental, esa combinación hace que me esmere mucho en los regalos que le doy o hago a las personas que me importan; como dije, prefiero mil veces hacer el regalo que comprarlo.
Esto es muy gracioso porque muy pocas personas han hecho lo mismo por mí, mi mejor amiga es la que más detalles hechos por ella misma me ha hecho pero, como no es su lenguaje de amor principal, no son tan frecuentes; mi ex pareja sí era de regalarme muchas cosas hechas a mano porque su mamá es artista plástica y lleva eso en la sangre, todavía conservo muchos poemas como pinturas que él me hizo, lamentablemente los collages los perdí en la mudanza.
I'm a very detailed and very sentimental person, that combination makes me take great care in the gifts I give or make to the people I care about; as I said, I prefer a thousand times to make the gift than to buy it.
This is very funny because very few people have done the same for me, my best friend is the one who has given me more handmade gifts but, as it's not her main love language, they aren't so frequent; my ex-partner used to give me many handmade gifts because his mother is a plastic artist and that's in his blood, I still have many poems and paintings that he made for me, unfortunately I lost the collages in the move.
Creo que el más significativo para mí fue un regalo que terminó siendo un trago amargo, les explico; tenía una amiga en la universidad con la que me la pasaba mucho y compartíamos muchas cosas en común, nunca la vi con otros ojos que no fueran de amistad, hasta que un 14 de Febrero de 2021 se presentó en mi trabajo con una cajita hecha a mano, una rosa hecha a mano y un chocolate; fue muy desconcertante pero como el 14 de Febrero también se celebra la amistad, nunca pensé mal.
Me pidió que no abriera la caja hasta que ella se fuera, le hice caso y le invité un helado; cuando se fue, abrí la caja y ¡oh sorpresa! era una declaración de amor; en ese momento quedé helada porque jamás lo pensé, me sentí terrible porque, básicamente, me confesaba que estuvo enamorada de mí por mucho tiempo pero al ver que no le correspondía, decidió alejarse.
I think the most significant for me was a gift that ended up being a bitter pill to swallow, let me explain; I had a friend in the university with whom I spent a lot of time and we shared many things in common, I never saw her with other eyes than friendship, until one February 14, 2021 she showed up at my work with a handmade box, a handmade rose and a chocolate; it was very disconcerting but as February 14 also celebrates friendship, I never thought wrong.
She asked me not to open the box until she left, I listened to her and invited her an ice cream; when she left, I opened the box and oh surprise! it was a declaration of love; at that moment I froze because I never thought about it, I felt terrible because, basically, she was confessing that she was in love with me for a long time but when she saw that I didn't reciprocate, she decided to move away.
Fue muy triste porque nunca me di cuenta de ello hasta ese momento, conservé la caja y la flor por mucho tiempo pero lamentablemente se dañaron por culpa de Rhaegar; aún conservo las notas y el peluche que había dentro de la caja.
Hoy en día nos tratamos de vez en cuando pero no como antes; creo que fue el regalo más bonito que me han hecho pero, lamentablemente, fue muy triste.
It was very sad because I never realized it until that moment, I kept the box and the flower for a long time but unfortunately they were damaged because of Rhaegar; I still keep the notes and the stuffed animal that was inside the box.
Nowadays we treat each other from time to time but not like before; I think it was the nicest gift I ever got but unfortunately it was very sad.
Amaría recibir más regalitos así porque me gusta conservarlos y tenerlos de recuerdo, se pudiese decir que soy una acumuladora pero es que tienen mucho valor sentimental y no tengo corazón para desecharlos.

I would love to receive more gifts like this because I like to keep them and have them as souvenirs, you could say that I am a hoarder but they have a lot of sentimental value and I don't have the heart to throw them away.

Prefiero dar o recibir regalos que se disfrutan y se terminan, como un buen viaje o una fruta. Con guardarlos en la memoria es suficiente, o quizás una que otra foto tambien.
Eso es relativo, porque yo disfruto mucho de esos regalos y me gusta conservarlos para recordar esos momentos especiales; pero cada quien disfruta las cosas y los momentos de manera diferentes
Las manualidades también son mi pasión.
Me gusta mucho hacer cosas con mis propias manos.
Cuando voy a regalar algo siempre le pongo mi toque personal.
Por más que sea algo que se pueda comprar hecho, si lo se hacer lo hago.
La verdad es que también me gusta regalar, aunque no tengo la dicha de que así sean conmigo.
Los detalles que le hicistes a tu enamorado son un bello gesto.
Y lo de tu amiga, fue algo que debió doler mucho.

Yo amo regalar cosas hechas a mano. Le he regalado varias cositas a mi novio. La verdad no considero tener un gran talento, creo que algunas cosas no me quedan tan bonitas como quisiera, pero disfruto hacerlo. Mi novio también me ha regalado cosas hechas por él y una amiga muy cercana también me regaló una vez un collage, pero en una mudanza lo perdí ;(
Yo también he sentido que muchas cosas no me quedan bien y me frustro bastante, pero sé que muchas de las veces es ese lado perfeccionista que no me deja apreciar el verdadero detalle; de igual manera siempre práctico lo que voy a hacer antes de hacer el regalo como tal para que salga lo más perfecto posible.
