My Hive introduction post - I finally made it!

Hi Folks!

My name is @labuenavida (not my real name, duh)

I've been hanging around since the days of the website that “shall not be named’.
Unfortunately, some creepy guy came along and took the platform over back in the day.
If you want to read about that, there are plenty blogs written about the topic back in the day.

Luckily for everyone a fork has been done so we could continue happily ever after… well sort of….. cause I haven’t done a lot on that platform, nor on this one. But I’m about to change that!

We (as in my daughter, my girlfriend @thisismylife and me) have moved from Hungary to Spain, (hence the name, @labuenavida) and we are happy to be here. No offence but Hungary really sucked for us. Now that we have a new start, I want to start my (new) writing career on hive as well.

Because I can’t miss out now, can I? I must be a part of this too!

The Plan

The idea is to write a bit about things I like such as technology, art, vaping, nature, food, life, and who knows what other weird stuff. I do have a fulltime business going on, so it could be a bit rough to write daily in the beginning, I will do my best though.

About me

A little bit about me, I’m a technology enthusiast in my forties who was lucky enough to build a business around it. My colleagues and I provide maintenance of our client’s computer networks, servers and workstations. A very busy, sometimes difficult (but never boring) job since this space constantly changes. It can be hard to keep up with technology these days.

The hobbies

I am totally into kitesurfing which I plan to pick back up now that we live in Spain, near the sea! We haven’t found a house at this time, but we will, soon.

Attending festivals “of the harder music styles” is one of the other hobbies that I really like to practice. Not everyone’s cup of tea but hey, I like it. No idea why I like those squeaky sounds and hard bases, but I do. Hopefully we can start our own festival in the future, cause here in Spain I haven’t seen a lot of festivals yet.

Listnerds

As my girlfriend discovered Listnerds very early on, she has been bugging me every single day to start writing on Hive so that I can also start sharing content on Listnerds. I have been postponing it way too long and now that my short holiday is coming to an end, it was time to write this introduction post on Hive and start sharing my own blogs on Listnerds. It’s quite a lot of new info for me to be honest, but as they say here in Spain: paso a paso (step by step) I will learn how everything works.
