Hi everyone,

as the weekend is approaching I will have more time to sit down and write more informative posts. I hope I will be able to write a new part of information about the events from the gaming world on Hive and other networks. Also, I might be able to finish a review of the "What If" animation. However, today due to a recent visit to a restaurant, I would like to share a little opinion with you about Mykonos restaurant in Gdansk.

The look in the restaurant and the service

Let's start with something that was unearthly, which is the decor in the restaurant. The restaurant itself was styled like a Greek restaurant. In the middle of it, there was an Olive tree and several tables. Everything was very nicely decorated with high-quality dishes. I honestly wouldn't have anything to complain about. Also, the service was very professional, I don't know-how about other countries but in Poland, it's rare to meet a writer who can remember 4/5 main meals, starters, and drinks without writing anything down.

The food

This is where the problems begin, the appetizers you see in the pictures were delicious. While we were eating we decided that we would swap appetizers and chose Tiropitakia and Shrimps. Tiropitakia is Filo dumplings with feta cheese, dried tomatoes and spicy pepper with tzatziki. To be honest they had a very interesting taste, quite salty but with the sauce, it all evens out. The shrimp, on the other hand, was made in an emulsion of white wine and butter. I mentioned earlier apropos of problems and so the problem was the main course - Souvlaki with roasted potatoes. It was just a very average dish because I felt like someone made skewers on the grill and added a ton of Greek seasoning. The potatoes were literally the same full of one spice from the packet. Generally, I would not complain if this restaurant did not aspire to be one of the best Greek restaurants in Pomerania, but here you could see how carefully the whole place was created and how high the prices were. I felt a bit disappointed after such good appetizers, but it is possible that I had too high expectations.

Summary

To sum up, this restaurant is very hard because, on one hand, I would really recommend you to check it out for the atmosphere, the decor, and the appetizers. On the other hand, I wouldn't really recommend it for the atmosphere, the decor, and the appetizers, but I wouldn't really recommend it for the main courses, maybe it's more of a tapas and wine type of restaurant. My final rating is 3/5.
