What are my goals for 2023?

I know I'm not the only one that doesn't like setting goals because of the pressure that comes with it. Anytime I set some goals, I become too stressed and desperate to accomplish them and sometimes I end up giving up and feeling bad about it. But if there's one thing I have come to realize about setting goals is that it makes us more focused and determined.

I haven't really thought about how my hive journey will be next year but after seeing this topic, I had to ask myself; "what will you like to see happen before the end of 2023?" There are a lot of factors that go into making goals and my major concern right now is school. I'm in my final year at the university and if there's one thing you should know about the final year of any student is that it's the most stressful.

On that note, I decided to come up with some realistic goals for hive which will be in line with the academic workload I will be facing next year. I wouldn't want to do anything that will make me end up spending more time on hive rather than studying. So, what are these goals?

Writing articles at least 3 times a week

Publishing articles 3 times a week is a pretty good deal and it's the best when considering the conditions I stated above. I purposely set the lower benchmark at 3 because I plan on mostly publishing articles that are entries for hive learners weekly featured contents and we all know they are usually 3 topics in a week.

This doesn't mean I won't write more than 3 articles but I will only do so when I have enough time on my hands. This will be possible with proper time management and I already have a time management system that works but will that still be effective next year when I will be working on my project at the university? Probably, I can always adapt if it doesn't.

At least 700 hive power

My hive power is currently around 350 and I want to double it before the end of 2023. Again, I'm only making realistic goals that I know won't be too farfetched for me. It will be wonderful if I can have up to 1000 HP but after doing some calculations, I asked myself; "what are the chances?". I know I will likely have more than 700 HP before the year ends but it's safer to set the goal at that number. If it goes above that, then great!

Have a reputation of at least 65

"Why not 70?", You might be thinking. Well, one thing you should know about the reputation system in hive is that it becomes more difficult to level up as you keep going higher. My reputation is currently 62 and it will take a lot of upvotes to get it to 63. How will I get lots of upvotes? By becoming very active and consistent which as I have stated earlier won't be possible next year.

Conclusion

These are some of the goals I have come up with for now and I will probably have to adjust some of them or add new ones as time goes on. I know I can do much better than the goals I have talked about but school is a major obstacle and hence why I have to go below my capability. I just hope I will be able to achieve all of my goals before the year ends, it won't be easy but I'm ready to put in the work to see it happen.

The pushing force behind Reputation above 62 is really a mighty one, it takes massive upvotes to crawl up.
Your goals are achievable, it's just a regular determination and pushes that it needs
