Monomad: Enjoying mating

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge.

It's been a long time since I photographed a creature that is often bullied in the real world but is quite fascinating in the world of pictures. This time I found him on a flower leaf enjoying mating.

Even though the view is a bit noisy because it is on rather large leaves, I have tried to edit it as best as possible to make it a black and white photo.

This is the Sarcophaga carnaria fly. Flies that have lots of feathers and beautiful eyes. I managed to capture some of these photos. Enjoy it, monomad lover friends!
