Hola amigos de Fulldeportes, ha comenzado el último Masters 1000 del año y con esta quincuagésima edición, llegan un sinfín de emociones al maravilloso mundo del tenis actual; que pese a las ausencias de Nadal, Federer y Thiem (sumados Shapovalov, Garín e Isner), cuenta con la presencia de las mejores raquetas de la actualidad y representa una gran batalla deportiva de estilos, entre varias generaciones de atletas, liderados por nada menos que el (aún) mejor tenista del orbe, el serbio Novak Djokovic.

No obstante Novak, ha tenido un debut muy favorecido, dado que se ha enfrentado al húngaro Marton Fucsovics, un rival ideal para este momento de atemperamiento físico, técnico y mental; motivado a que Fucsovics (Número 40 del escalafón) es uno de los tenistas más técnicos del circuito (opinión personal), sus tiros los ejecuta con una elegancia notable y en sus mejores días, puede complicarle una competencia a cualquier contendiente. Se repite una vez más la mala fortuna del húngaro, ya que en la mayoría de los eventos (primeras rondas), le toca enfrentar a jugadores de alto nivel, sin embargo su nivel de hoy, ha estado aceptable, pese a haber perdido, tuvo grandes tiros y buenas situaciones que le imprimen experiencia. En el aspecto crítico, a Marton le ha faltado más velocidad de piernas y movilidad luego del servicio; Novak ha hecho una buena lectura de esos detalles y lo usó en su favor.

En la que el balcánico pisó levemente el acelerador y mantuvo algo de presión sobre el rival, haciéndole incurrir en diversos errores no forzados; y luego, con una hermosa volea al tercer golpe, cierra el encuentro en 2 horas exactas de juego.
